I might go to a con, might not be that one, someday. I don't know when, but I don't really want to go to one that only has like 200 people. I'd go in my Civil War uniform and be the best dressed person there :P

Right I know that, I just meant that I wouldn't want to go to some small town con that has just 200 some people. I'd want to go where there's a bunch of people, if I ever went to one.

i actually prefer the small ones because then you get more time with the guests. but thats just me.

I mean ones that are small and don't really have much to offer or real guest appearances. Knowing my luck I'd stumble into one of those lame gatherings.

oh well then yeah. i go looking for the guests and then pick the con that way.

Well of course, but I really don't feel like flying all the way to the other side of the US for some con, especially since I've never been to one.

i dont think we're flying, i think we're driving. we haven't decided yet.

You live on the east coast right? Do you know how much gas you would need to pay for? Especially during the Summer.

it's still cheaper than flying. or, it may come out to be about the same....so its just a matter of preference.

I don't know, that's a lot of miles to cover. Not to mention just gas, but car maintenance to.

theyve done a study on it multiple times on the news, its about the same. and you have to figure you'd have to get flight tickets for everyone both ways. the airports pretty expensive....

I suppose so, you would have to take into consideration car maintenance, gas, rent and food. Because I doubt you're the type to drive all the way to east to west without a pit stop or hotel.

well, we were thinking about taking turns driving. so one of us would be driving at almost all times. we still havent decided if we're evening going yet so one step at a time in regards to transportation.

i think the longest car ride we've done was 10 hours straight (minus bathroom breaks).

I did that with some people once, but that was just way down in Florida.

just from what my mom's been saying, i think she'd prefer driving. she doesnt really like airports.

You better get yourself some tapes to listen to, or some video game...or something. Otherwise that is going to be one boring ride.

oh, there is always the magical CD that is comprised of the best Disney songs.

I want to get myself a CD full of Sonic songs, those were the best Sonic music levels ever. They kind of fallen downhill after that. I'll always love the jingle of Emerald Hill Zone, just sounds great.

Whatever, it's not like I can find the sonic music lying around for download. I normally would have to listen to it on youtube if I wanted to hear it again.

not saying that this is what you should do but for my school projects where i need to use video or audio clips from youtube, i use keepvid.com and it converts the youtube file into either a downloadable video file or an audio file for editing.

again, not saying you should do that but its where i was told to go for school projects....

I do that with some other sites sometimes but it takes too long too often. Also did you read the latest Google privacy policies? You might want to if you haven't, it sort of falls in place to what you're talking about.

It basically means that whatever you do on the internet will be monitored more thoroughly now. Things like downloading and whatnot, and they'll have a record of that for several months, even if you wipe your computer clean of the history.
