Upon seeing the direct hit, the clone grinned satisfyingly, however once they caught a glimpse of the ice arrows, which melting ice shined in the burning streets, they readied themselves. As one arrow and then another honed in, at such intense speeds, this clone dodged them all.

Well except for one, as the arrows behind her, which she dodged, had previously melted and turned into ice slush upon impact. Slightly slipping, but remaining on both feet, they were sliced in the shoulder by one, before clasping it. Apparently even blobbish clones could feel pain, there was hope just yet.

Seeing this one, even minute, chance of opportunity, Quiver aimed another series of ice arrows. However, rather than aiming it towards the cone, she aimed it towards her clone's feet, hoping they would melt along the way. In between these arrows, she fired a series of wind arrows.

With the mixture of wind and ice arrows colliding, they created a blizzard like fusion, which exploded onto the asphalt. The clone covered themselves from the stinging and cold ice chunks, which peppered across them, before falling on their back from the initial shock and explosion.

Quiver wasted no time in seeing her opponent down: she now took this chance to charge the clone. She fired another set of blizzard and wind arrows. When she was close enough, she only fired the blizzard arrows so they wouldn't melt as much as before.

With the duplicate lying humiliatingly on the damaged street, they frowned at Quiver's come around. However they quickly countered the arrows, by flipping upright erratically, before zipping to the left jiggly.

Suddenly a bright light emitted from below, basking the entire street in its immenseness. Accompanied by the lights, that lit everything was a powerful gust of wind, which blew all the small debris and papers around, but did not cease. This was all followed by the pulsating sounds of a helicopters propeller spinning quickly.

This helicopter aimed their lights down onto those in the street, not moving the spotlight at all. "You're surrounded, there's no where to go!" Their voice echoed from a megaphone, before several police cars with sirens began to rush down the streets.

They quickly stopped, their doors busting open, before the police took cover behind their opened doors and cars, and aiming pistols, shotguns, and rifles at all on the street.

However at this point there was only one person on the street, Quiver, the real one. Before the helicopter's light even hit the street, the duplicate was long gone. If one was to be observative, they would notice a long stretchy peculiar and blobbish like snake strand slipping through a manhole cover.

At first, Quiver felt the fact the cops had arrived was perfect. Now they could see that she was completely innocent and this imposter needed to be brought to justice.

However, Quiver then turned back to her clone and saw that she was gone.

"You've got to be kidding me!" she exclaimed in disgust before looking back at the cops surrounding her.

The helicopter's spotlight remained on Quiver, as its blades blew loose dust and the air powerfully down below. Meanwhile the police aimed their weapons at this menace, ready to strike whenever, if they did not comply.

"Drop your weapons now!" One of the police growled intimidatingly, appearing to be a higher officer of some kind. The clicking and clanking of several types of guns echoed, as they prepared for whatever was to come down.

Reluctantly, Quiver put down her bow and arrows. She then placed her hands in the air.

However, as she dropped her bow and quiver, it appeared that a quick whistling arrow zipped by. It flew from her angle and direction, banging straight into the glass with a piercing crack, before hitting one of the officers.

It went right in their shoulder, as they fell backwards with a painful yelp. Immediately they hit the ground, out for the count. "Jack!" His nearby partner exclaimed, observing his wound and status, as he brought a concerned hand out to him. "We have an officer down!" He exclaimed, as he looked at the other police.

Without another order, the other officers frowned angrily at this women's defiance, readying their guns now to fire. However before they could, a bright yellowish blur zoomed by, throwing up dust and wind in a tunnel like wave. It blew right past the officers, causing them to cover themselves and cancel their attack.

They stopped abruptly in front of Quiver, their forceful gust of wind and dust blowing violently across Quiver, before passing. Jet stood in front of her, with an angered frown. "What is wrong with you?" He asked, but did not wait for a reply. Instead he zoomed right in front of Quiver, almost face to face, before hitting her with an elbow jab to the face, a fist, and then a side swipe, in super speed.

Although no one could see it due to her mask, Quiver's face turned pale as the arrow zipped by.

"No way!" Quiver exclaimed and she turned to look and see where the arrow came from. When she turned back around, a gust of wind blew in her direction with Jet standing in front of her. "Jet! I--" Quiver started but before she could continue, she suddenly felt a singe of pain before blacking out.

With Quiver out cold on the hard asphalt, the terror was over. The police placed their side arms back in their holsters, before hurrying towards the downed suspect. The fires and damaged raged on for the remainder of the night and would take some time to put out and repair.

It would be a long and grueling night for all, especially Jet who had to deal with the fact that his once partner in justice was a villain in crime. Not to mention Quiver who was thrown into a series of confusing and fixed situations.

Whenever she awoke, she would soon notice she was in a gray dim boxed room, with only a glassed impenetrable window, a table, and two seats. One of which she was currently in, as well as strapped to in a straight jacket. Jet and an officer stood there, waiting for whenever she was to come to, in order for pressing questions and matters.

Elsewhere the gas masked leaders watched from afar, seeing all from a lone and shoddy old television, with their cloned project nearby. "All according to plan..." The leader said happily. "Everything is falling in place."

When Quiver woke up, she immediately felt that she was trapped somehow. At first, she thought perhaps everything had been a dream and she was still stuck in the lab. Instinctively, she tried to break free of her bonds only to realize she was in a straight jacket.

As she looked around, she noticed she wasn't in the lab but some sort of interrogation room. But no one was there. She guessed people were watching her from one way glass window.

It was then she remembered what had happened before, remembered that she had been surrounded by police officers. And that an arrow had come from her direction. And that Jet had been there.

"Wait a minute...he hit me!" Quiver thought as she realized what must have happened which only upset her more.

She wanted to yell to whoever was on the other side of the glass window and tell them she was innocent. But given the fact she was in a straight jacket, she guessed she would just look like a mentally unstable person to them. So she remained calm and waited.

With a steamy cup of coffee in hand, bought from some cheap convenience store nearby, the officer noticed Quiver coming to, just as Jet did. The two stopped their idle mingling and lazing, as they straightened their posture.

"Time to get her facts." The officer said, still with the coffee in hand, and sounding like one of those tough cops, who had seen it all. Or so that's the way he came off with his tone. Slowly walking in front of the officer, Jet moved a hand in his way gently.

"Hold on, I got this one." He replied, slightly confusing the officer, who stood there without saying a word. "I know how she ticks, I can make her crack if we're alone."

With a nod, the officer stepped aside, the lock disengaged with a green light and beeping sound, and Jet walked in as the door slid open. Once he was fully inside, he took a seat at the table, on the opposite end of Quiver, as the door slowly slid again.

Taking his casual time, he then turned the seat around so that he sat on it with the back end of the chair facing him. He leaned over, staring at Quiver. "You sure know how to put on a show..."

As soon as Jet entered, Quiver felt a little relieved. It was true he would take some convincing...perhaps a lot of convincing. But she knew if anyone was going to eventually believe her, it would be him. Or, at least, she hoped.

"Jet, I was framed," Quiver said, getting right to the point and finishing what she had wanted to say to Jet before he had knocked her out. "Some men cloned me with that blob monster we fought. And they might try to clone you too."

She felt a part of her must have sounded stupid at this point. But, at the same time, she felt she had no other choice. If she acted at all shady that would only give them a reason to believe she was, indeed, against them.

"Those are some mighty strong words you're throwing at me." Jet replied, with a wicked grin, and only his back visible from the see through window. "But I'm not here to be convinced or help you, I'm here to deliver a message." They replied, before they rose their hand on the table so she could see.

Suddenly a few of their fingers bent backwards, too far to be of human nature, and far too painful. However they showed no discomfort as their joints simply wobbled and snapped back into shape. After their display, everything remained normal, or as normal as the regular Jet would be, before grinning mischievously at her.

At first, Quiver was confused by Jet's comment and his behavior. However, quickly her face turned pale once again as he bent his fingers backwards. Here, she couldn't help it, she fought to get out of her binds.

"What did you do with Jet?" she asked. It was a demand.

"We didn't do nothing to him," The fake Jet replied, "However you did." He added, before revealing one of the clone Quiver's arrows, which had Jet's blood and costume fabric on it. "For all we know he might still be speeding around, but we have his sample."

Slowly he rose from his seat, before turning around to the door. "This conversation is over, you can try to get out if you must, but it's all over for you."

Quiver groaned in frustration as she desperately wanted to beat the crap out of this clone. But she didn't say anything outright to him, she just watched him.

"If I got out of the lab, I'll get out of here," she thought.

Once Jet had left her alone in the room. Quiver took a deep breath. The problem with her escape was that she had no way of knowing if someone on the opposite end of the room was watching her or not. She stared at the glass, seeing if she could see any hint of someone leaving the room. But of course, she couldn't. At the same time, she listened intently for any signs of doors opening or closing.

She waited five minutes or so. Perhaps it was longer. She really couldn't say. But then, she heard it. It was faint but she was fairly certain it was the door opening and closing.

Quiver took a deep breath and tried to loosen herself up as much as plausible. Thank god her Dad was old school.

She then forcefully pulled her right arm towards her left shoulder. She wasn't entirely sure if this would work but it was the only choice she had. Quiver then tried to lift her right arm over her head. But of course, she couldn't fully do it. She tried to desperately reach the buckle with her teeth. Her arm started to hurt as she tried to pull the buckle closer to her.

Finally, she got it and tried to undo the clasp. When her arm was free, she relaxed for a bit. Her arm ached. However, she quickly forced herself to finish it: with her free hand, she undid the clasps on the other side. Once that was done, she stood up out of the chair. Crouching down, she stepped on the sleeve, pulling herself out of the jacket.

Quiver took the jacket with her and ducked under the window. She stared towards the door, waiting for someone to come in looking for her. Wondering where she had escaped to. And that's when she would take the upper hand and get out of there.

Once the Jet duplicate exited the room, he stopped by the officer momentarily. "She'll be ready to crack soon enough, just keep an eye on her."

With a nod, the officer sipped from his coffee, before going about his other business. However as he later casually strolled by the questioning booth, he spotted Quiver removing her straight jacket. Alarmed by how she got out, but mostly because she got out and was attempting escape, his jaw dropped, before he rushed to the door.

"Hey!" He exclaimed, catching Quiver in the act, as she was closer to the table. Without hesitation he rushed towards her, with a taser in hand.

Seeing the officer, Quiver grabbed the chair nearby and shoved it in front of the officer to keep him off track a bit. When he was busy dealing with the chair, she then punched him in the face.

Aiming the taser, the officer fired it, just as Quiver hit them with the chair. However it was more of a reflex and the wires spiraled towards the walls, before sparking brightly. Off balance and with a used up taser gun, he was immediately knocked to the ground by Quiver.

Of course she needed to get out to deal with the situation, but this did not make her matters better, especially when there was a camera on the walls, feeding to some distant location. However the door was still opened, as the officer was too busy attempting to deal with Quiver's unruly behavior. Now that he was out cold, there was no one around to shut the door quickly enough.

Outside of the hall there was little resistance, if any, and it stretched on for quite some distance in both directions. There were windows and doors, any which could be used to escape.

Quiver grabbed the taser from the officer before bolting for the door. She looked up and down the hall. Seeing how long it was, she tried a couple of doors to see if they were open and if any one of them happened to contain her weapons. Quiver went up and down the hall up until there were other officers around. She didn't stick around for too long though and made an escape out of a nearby window.

As Quiver escaped the police, thus breaking the law, even for good intentions, the knocked down officer from before called it in. "The female archer is loose, I repeat she has escaped! All personnel be on the look out for a female archer in costume!"

His voice echoed through many authority radios, as the police acknowledged the information. As Quiver escaped the complex, in the dead of the night, when there were many fires raging everywhere, where would she head? How could she possibly know where to go from here? Especially because time was not on her side.

Immediately a police car spun to the corner of the alley Quiver was rushing through. Throwing their bright headlights on, they turned on their flashing sirens, which echoed loudly. They were not as passive as before, as they drove quickly towards her. "This is your last warning, on the ground now." One of the officers voices echoed through a microphone like device built into the car.

Seeing the incoming car, Quiver looked around the area for anything useful. Seeing a bunch of trash cans, she grabbed the lid of one of the cans before pushing them towards the direction of the car. When the vehicle slowed down, she ran around it with the lid in her hand to hopefully deflect any weapons that might be fired at her.
