Just as the statue began to tip over, Jet silently gasped, simply dropping his jaw, before he sped towards his petrified friends figure. Lunging underneath the statue, its weight slowly came down on him, as he knelt, attempting to keep it from falling and shattering.

With such a strain pushed against him, he shook from the sheer weight. However Ms. Gollard was no fan of playing fair, and resorted to dirty tricks all the way through. Being kicked in the gut, Jet grunted, and almost caved in on himself, as the statue began to wobble and shift fully onto him. Not one to be count out or too stupid to not notice a trap, Jet spotted as the snakes began to bite him.

Shifting all the weight on his back and one arm, Jet used his free arm to create a whirlwind vortex, as he spun it around like a propeller. The wind blew violently, blowing Ms. Gollard's snakes everywhere around her head, the wind which in fact would startle Gollard as well.

The snakes hissed in agitation at the wind. Ms. Gollard stepped back, in order to avoid as much of the attack as possible. However, as soon as the snakes had regained control, they took another lunge at Jet: three going on each side of him.

With Ms. Gollard taken by surprise from the super speed whirl wind, Jet used this time to easily set down the statue onto the ground, so that it could no longer fall and crumble on itself.

Once he was doing, the beast regained itself, and attacked with its deadly and demonically hissing snakes. One lunged and bit after the other. Quick on his feet Jet used his speed to dodge them, from where he stood and not moving a foot, by simply leaning to his side and backwards quickly.

With quick hands as well, he grabbed one of the snakes from biting him, however another quickly raveled around his arm, before sinking its teeth in him. Shouting from the pain, Jet released his grip from the snake, and moved away from Ms. Gollard and the snakes, in order to be out of her reach.

Instead of a front attack like he was trying before, he super sped around Ms. Gollard, creating a whirlwind vortex, with her inside and in the middle. The wind was not deadly, but it did pick up to strong levels.

One of the snakes that had went after Jet but missed due to his speed accidentally bit the Quiver statue in the arm. It's teeth were caught for a moment before finally backing away.

The violent wind lifted Ms. Gollard a few feet off of the ground and pushed her away from Jet. With an aggravated groan, she fell to the floor. As she fell, her sunglasses fell apart, leaving her piercing eyes exposed. Ms. Gollard made sure to shut them right away. One could see that some sort of energy was seeping out from under her eyelids. Once Ms. Gollard had regained control of the situation, she opened her eyes to stare at Jet.

Jet slowly stopped his spiraling whirlwind, slowly second by second. Eventually the wind and dust settled, and no traces of powerful winds were present. He spotted Ms. Gollard from his side, as she was thrown about from the wind. Especially after her glasses fell off of her.

He was about to confront her, until a strange beam of light emitted from her. It seemed to come from her forehead or eyes. He wasn't entirely clear on the whole situation, but it caused him to become more cautious, as he slowed down his speed.

A lone mouse in the basement scurried through the complex, where Jet and Gollard were fighting, before he stopped his sniffing, and stared at the now exposed Ms. Gollard. Quickly jolting and becoming stiff in the back, as if paralyzed, the mouse then slowly morphed into stone, with an odd cracking sound.

Taken in surprise by this, Jet gasped slightly, before he looked Ms. Gollard. It wasn't long before she stared back at him, to which he closed his eyes tightly, adding safety measures to look away, even though his eyes were already closed.

"Your turned them into stone with that light!" Jet exclaimed, before speeding off with his eyes closed. It proved more difficult then he would had thought, as he slammed into a pedestal.

While Jet was unable to see this, Ms. Gollard rolled her eyes at him.

"So, do you think now you'll cooperate? Or would you prefer to hit a few statues first?" she asked.

Unknown to Jet and Ms. Gollard, the statue of Quiver was slowly transforming. The hard rock where the snake had bitten it was beginning to turn the color of flesh.

Quickly Jet opened his eyes realizing this wasn't working. Instead of looking straight up at head level, he stared below, where the ground and his feet were. Once he adjusted to the dim basement again, he then observed where ms. Gollard was and her feet. He didn't dare look up any further.

From there he then spotted her glasses, which had recently fallen off of her. If he was able to look at her with the shades on, they were some kind of barrier to her eyes or light. With that in mind, he quickly sped towards where a statue was crumbled.

Although this was probably a person at one time, Jet didn't ponder on it too long. Once he reached the remains, he knelt down, and picked up two chunks in both hands. Immediately he began to throw the chunks, one after the other, picking up more once they were thrown. He did this in his usual quick speed, throwing them directly at Ms. Gollard.

Because he's only looking at her legs and feet as he throws the chunks they aren't as well aimed as they could be. But he doesn't worry about that too much on account that enough were thrown to be a nuisance and danger still.

When she was preoccupied with the bombardment of incoming statue chunks, Jet used this opportunity to speed towards her glasses, which were near her, and grabbed them, before dashing off, to which he suddenly appeared behind her, after he stopped super speeding.

Without hesitating or wasting time, Jet used his super speed to place Ms. Gollard's sunglasses back onto her, with both his hands pushing up against the glasses and her head, in case she tried to struggle.

Ms. Gollard tried to avoid as many of the rocks as possible. She managed to evade a majority of them due to Jet's inability to look at her directly. However, the speed of the chunks caused her to get hit at least once. It hurt her tremendously as a red spot formed where the chunk had hit her.

Because she was too preoccupied with the chunks, she didn't notice what Jet was planning. But suddenly she felt her sunglasses being pushed against her. She tried to wriggle free, her snakes attacking in a frenzy at the hands that were pinning her glasses to her face.

Meanwhile, Quiver's hand was now regular hand once again. It twitched but faintly. Her arm and shoulder was gradually becoming flesh again as the transformation crawled slowly upward.

Flinching and yelping from the pain inflicted by the snake bites, Jet continued to push Gollard's glasses up against her, as he struggled with her.

Removing one of his arms from his lock, he then bit the torn clothes on his arm, and yanked a decent strand off in between his teeth. Quickly he then wrapped it around Gollard's face, acting as a thick blindfold, before tying a tight knot at the back, so it would prove more difficult to remove.

Once Gollard was blind, instead of taking advantage of her state, he quickly super speed to Quiver's statue. He stared at it briefly, before frowning. "Man...I'm going to hate myself for this..."

He said before he lifted the statue off the ground, with a grunt, and super sped up the stairs and out of the building. He continued this process with every other statue, before finally arriving back down in the basement where Gollard would had possibly removed her blindfold by now.

With a smile, he folded his arms. "Can't fight dirty now, unless that ugly face of yours counts."

With her snakes continuing to hiss wildly, Ms. Gollard struggled to remove the blindfold tied tightly around her.

As Jet tried to save the many statues, Quiver's transformation continued. By the time Jet had finished rescuing the statues and was moving downstairs once again, her face was now exposed. However, a majority of her body was still stone so her head slumped over. The stone portion of her body was from her waist down and parts of her other arm.

Meanwhile, Ms. Gollard finally managed to remove the blindfold. Angrily, she looked for Jet and saw he was just about finishing with the statues. But she did not seem at all bothered by this.

Upon hearing Jet's words, Ms. Gollard merely smirked.

"You think you're so clever don't you?" she said as she started circling him, her eyes opened as she stared at him intently.

Jet wasn't sure what the expression of Ms. Gollard was, as he had his eyes closed the entire time. However he had heard her words, and was in fact smiling himself from what he had accomplished so far.

"That won't work on me." Jet said, as he felt the presence of Ms. Gollard close to him. He had even taken extra precaution to blindfold himself, by wearing his mask from the back side, just after his entire statue rescue.

"Not as long as I have this on." He said tapping at the mask, "Now that all the statues are clear, I don't have to worry about crashing into stuff...unless I run into a wall of course."

As Ms. Gollard quietly stepped closer, the snakes were close enough to Jet's face where their hissing would sound extremely loud. They were not yet biting at him though if he were able to see he would see that they looked as though they were about ready to strike.

"All the statues are clear? Are you sure about that?" Ms. Gollard asked, a hint of mischievous present in her voice.

"Nope," Jet said with a smug smile, as he crossed his arms. "Maybe you're the one who should go back to school, if you can't count." He added, after speeding to the back of her, and slightly further away.

By listening to her voice and snake hissings, he was able to determine close enough where she was, so that he didn't accidentally bump into her.

Ms. Gollard did not seem annoyed by this action nor by Jet's comment. She let him speed away from her grasp.

Then, Ms. Gollard shut her eyes.

What Jet could not see due to his blindfold was that two statues had now appeared in the basement once again. However, how they managed to get there was completely unknown because there was no one who witnessed their moving. The only fact that remained was that there were two statues and they were are either side of Jet, each one holding firmly onto one of his arms.

No, because I've been meaning to put something to use. :P

"Hey!" Jet exclaimed, as he couldn't move his arms. He could, they could budge and wiggle, but wouldn't move from where they were. Someone had him in a lock.

Or two people, judging by the size and distance apart. However even when he jerked, they wouldn't budge ever. They were rock solid and in place.

"So playing tough now?" Jet said unamused and disappointed. "Calling in your cronies finally?"

"Yes, yes I am," Ms. Gollard said, her tone suggesting no amusement what so ever. A part of her wondered how this person was still alive in the world.

Without saying another word, Ms. Gollard approached Jet.

"Now, let's find out who you really are," she said as she went to take off his mask.

"I don't think so," Jet said to Ms. Gollard's last words, as he moved and twisted his head away from her and her hands.

Still being locked by the two statues grips, he did the only thing he could do with his arms. Shake and wiggle them in a pattern, only this time with super speed. He continued to up the speed each second, until his arms became a yellowish blur, and creating an effect equivalent to a jackhammer on concrete.

Suddenly the statue's arms burst from the speed and force, creating a mixture of dusty air, which Jet swirled around the room with his propeller arms once he was free.

With a weak dust barrier created, which would blind or at the very least hinder someones eyes if they were to have them opened, Jet had to plan something.

What is her weakness? Does she have any? Jet pondered, as he was on the run from being captured by statues or attacked by Gollard. Of course everyone has a weakness! You just have to find hers, or have her spill it!

It then donned on him, as he remembered the sunglasses. At first he found it weird that someone would wear sunglasses while sculpting any kind of art, especailly since it would make it harder to see.

But even now she wore them in the darkness. It could only mean one thing, sensitive eyes! Or at least he hoped so. And if he could drill through concrete, hopefully he could drill through walls.

Ms. Gollard stepped back as Jet appeared to be doing something. But what exactly he did, she wasn't sure because it had happened so fast. All she knew was her statues were now broken. Quickly, Ms. Gollard shut her eyes. When she opened them once more, the room was once again full with statues. They circled Jet and she ran towards him, her snakes ready to pounce hopefully before he began his plan.

With his plan fully thought out and himself fully escaped, Jet couldn't help to crack a smile. However that stopped soon, as he heard Ms. Gollard incoming. Slowly his smile faded to a determined frown, as it was time to get serious.

Quickly he turned around, about to rush ahead. However he quickly bumped into something. As strange as that seemed, there was something there, that caught him off guard. Confused he patted it, it felt oddly familiar.

Too familiar in fact...Knowing that Ms. Gollard was behind him, he quickly twisted his mask to the right side, so that he could see through his eye holes. Shocked at what he was seeing, it was in fact there. A statue, but how did it get there, and not only that one, but a bunch of others.

Well that was useless...he thought with a frown. However he was quickly taken back to reality and his situation, as several snakes lunged on his back. With a yelp, his back arched from the pain.

Now he was even more determined for his plan. It was now or never. With his sight switched on momentarily, which he needed with all these statues back, he quickly maneuvered out of the statues ways with his super speed.

He knew there was no way Ms. Gollard could keep up with him, so he knew it was safe for now to keep his eyes opened. He had to know where he was going. He rushed through the basement and up the stairs.

But he didn't come back, as strange as that seemed. It remained eerily quiet, that was until the building began to shake. It shook tremendously, creaking with each tremor, dust falling from the basement ceilings.

Then all of a sudden a hole began to appear above the ceiling, with a yellowish spinning blur drilling deeper and deeper. Eventually the blur made it all the way through, light bursting all the way in, after the dust dropped down.

Three holes were drilled, one for the roof, the second floor, and the basement's ceiling, allowing the noon's sunlight to drop right in the room. With this part of the plan done, Jet slowly stopped his super fast spinning, as he attempted to keep his balance. However that was easier said then done, especailly with someone as dizzy as Jet was.

At first, Ms. Gollard did not know what to make of the situation as she stood alone in the basement. Her eyes darted every which way expecting Jet to appear any moment.

However, she felt her house shaking and suddenly she was blinded by the light. With a shriek, Ms. Gollard backed away as she shielded her eyes. When she regained herself and was able to squint, she saw Jet spinning. Eyes tearing from the sun's rays, Ms. Gollard ran towards Jet, her snakes ready to attack. However, the snakes were not aiming to merely bite Jet has they had done before, they were now aiming for his throat.

As the snakes were ready to make a final assault, something whistled in the path between the snakes and Jet. Within seconds, blood spurted from one of the snakes. Ms. Gollard shrieked even louder than before as one of the snake's heads fell to the floor. On the other side of the room, an arrow was lodged in the wall.

Quiver immediately turned around away from Ms. Gollard, shutting her eyes along the way. However, as soon as she opened them again, she was surrounded by statues. Caught of guard, she aimed an arrow at them though she knew her arrows would do nothing. When she blinked again, they had grabbed her arms.

Statues had surrounded Jet as well. However, they merely stood there, unable to grab him in his spinning fit.

But the statues then seemed to cease their advances. And there was no trace of Ms. Gollard except for drops of blood that seemed to lead nowhere.

So much had went on during Jet's dizzy phase, that he was able to hear it, even see it, albeit a very blurry version, that he had no idea what was going on.

Once he was finished wobbling and spinning slightly uncontrollable, he staggered out of the ring of statues, holding his throbbing head.

"Oh...brain, remind me to never do that again..." He said, before noticing Quiver, who had just finally showed up. Or turned out of stone...or whatever. It then donned on him, the fight! Quickly he looked around, but couldn't find Ms. Gollard anywhere.

All that was there, was a severed piece of snake hair and her blood. He wasn't sure how much use that could be, as he rubbed the blood on his finger, which was covered by his glove.

It simply just smeared on the concrete floor, before he took his attention to the limp snake, which he poked. It simply just jiggled with each tap. "Thanks for the help," Jet said, "But how'd you stop being rock solid?"

"I could be wrong," Quiver said as she was still trying to get out of the statue's grips. "But I think it's the snake venom." Quiver then motioned to her arm where the snake had bitten her. There was clearly a punctured mark and the surrounding area was red. "And you're welcome."

After a moment, Quiver looked over towards Jet. "Do you think you could help me out here?" she asked, no hint of sarcasm present in her voice as she motioned to the two statues.

"So all we have to do is get some more snake venom..." Jet thought, rubbing his chin, however he then remembered the dead and severed snake head. "I'm not much on biology, but maybe we can use this dead snake somehow." He said picking it up, as it dangled.

If Quiver was able to slap her forehead, she would have at this moment. However, she took a deep breath instead.

"I just hope it's enough," Quiver said.

Quiver waited a minute to see if Jet would now help her get out from being trapped by the statues.

"Oh!" Jet exclaimed, noticing Quiver was still trapped. "Let's see..." He said observing the best way to break the statues. He didn't want to use his super speed or friction on account that it could seriously injure Quiver.

Instead he searched for another way. It then donned on him, as he snapped his finger, "Oh! Be right back!" He shouted, before zooming off, and coming right back immediately with a chisel and hammer of Ms. Gollards.

With super speed and carefully, he chiseled enough of the statue around Quiver's arms, so that she could free herself.
