It was funny, but it couldn't keep my attention.

Just like, say, Hayate (which was, IMHO, a lot funnier), there's nothing to keep you coming back for long.

Also, I prefer Kill Me Baby, a 4-Koma, for my humor.

I was sort of kidding. I only caught the show when it came on Toonami years ago, and was really put off by it. I did watch it, but it was just really weird.

The main character was attacking people with blank CD cases, by opening and closing them...it was just too weird for my taste.

okay, that's it i can't take it any longer: i looked up the dub of Clannad After Story with my favorite scenes. and, i gotta say, i like the subbed better so far.

i just think the guy that's playing the main character in the dub doesn't deliver on the emotional parts of the show. i mean...it's supposed to be really emotional...and a part of me feels like he's not really crying. it doesnt feel genuine.

that and, normally i dont care with mispronunciations with names but hearing him say 'Nagisa' in english is really funny XD

It was some... odd parody of everything in general. I was amused for a while.

The manga was fairly funny, but I only read a preview from another magazine.

I still have a fondness for it, yeah. I listen to Hiyori's character songs, and occasionally flip through the manga.

But, I'm pretty sure all the anti-LS vitriol has gotten to me.

But in all seriousness... It's not bad, it's just... I don't know. I gave the series another go, and it's like... "Heh, this is... okay." The manga is funny, but the anime is average.

Also, I want to punch the CEO of Toyota in the face. Seriously... Almost nobody in the US knows who Miku Hatsune is, and, personally, that Miku looks absolutely awful.

What, do they expect us to be happy about the fact that they're only further alienating us? That now, Miku's "that weird thing from that commercial?'

Anime isn't the only thing that is often not researched well before being broadcast on some commercial, on the radio, or the news. They're are a crap load of things.

Although I can't really say that I saw anything wrong, because I'm not really a fan or know anything about it. The same can be said about things I see about the commercials or whatever I notice that others probably don't.

Their job isn't really to show anime in a stronger light, but to get people to buy their cars. If fans of it feel offended, it's not like they're going to lose much sales.

The model looks absolutely scary, and she sounds like a harpy...

I didn't see anything off about the model to be honest, but when she started to sing it did sound like a garbled mess of interference from a mic lol.

That about sums it up! I normally tend to avoid the comments on youtube because half the time they can be really depressing. Oh humanity where have you gone? Certainly not at the comment section.

Has anyone here ever watched Ben10? I know it's not really an anime, but it sort of has influences from it.

It's been ages since I've seen an episode of it, but I completely remembered it during the post in the Avatar section. Needless to say a mass of nostalgic awesomeness flooded me...I got to find my box sets and rewatch some episodes!

Anyway if you don't know, the series is about a ten year old who happens across an alien device like watch, that binds to him against his will, which allows him to change into ten different aliens with different powers.

The story and execution are great and I think you would enjoy the series LS.

ive seen episodes here and there. i like it when it's on. its just i never follow it...i just tend to stink at following shows in general. i always have.

You can catch a lot of the episodes on youtube, sure the quality might be a little bad, but you have that option. My favorite aliens were always Four Arms, XLR8, and Ditto.

no seriously, ive been watching it when it comes on after Young Justice on Fridays. so even though i dont fully know what's going on....i still watch the newer episodes.

Ben 10 Ultimate Alien or Alien Force, whatever its calling itself now is lacking. To me where it's really at is where it began. They just ruined it with the sequels because their hell bent on world domination villain is now Ben's friend and his cousin's lover?

I also really don't care for the color tones they use, too many shows use gray tones in the pallet, which really gives it off a dark unappealing atmosphere. I've always been a sucker for bright and vibrant backgrounds.

Ben and Gwen also had distinct personalities in the first series, of course they'd grow and mature, but now they just seem so blah.

wait they other guy they hung out with is now a villain!? omg you just totally spoiled it!

No Kevin in the first series was a villain. They showed a few future episodes in the original (that has nothing to do with the sequels) where Kevin is still the bad guy.

The long black haired dude. He tried to kill Ben numerous times for the omnitrix, the watch device he has on him. So it doesn't make sense for them to be all buddy buddy and lovey lovey does it?

how did Kevin become good then? O_o im confused.
