Can you think of anything we could offer, that would be legal and be related to RP or Avatar? Also if you don't mind, is there anything that you feel could turn off the members from our forum design wise or anything?

screenshots and gifs. gifs are super popular on tumblr right now.

thats ASN's weakness. they offer screenshots but not 'hot linking' so basically, they might as well not even offer the images.

allow screenshots and allow hot linking. yeah people might come on to take the screenshots without visiting the site but people will get annoyed if you have screenshots and don't allow hotlinking. besides, they're just screenshots, it's not like they're stealing your artwork or something.

I'm not sure I follow. What images would I use, of the forum? And where should I post them? I'm sort of confused, but willing to listen.

im saying the designing of the forum is fine the way it is.

but we should have a page that has screenshots from the Avatar series. so people can use them to make wallpapers, for reference, whatever.

what ASN does is they have a huge database of screenshots but you can't take the screenshots outside of their website. im saying to have screenshots (not as many, we don't need to go crazy) but to allow people to use it outside of this website.

im also saying to make gifs available for people to use.

this way, instead of having the episodes, you're giving something from the series that people can post on other websites and it's legal.

So I should make banners and wallpapers for people to use? Like Photoshop works? Or should I just take screenshots of the series and make sure they're good quality?

just screenshots. let them make their own wallpapers :p

for the gifs? most people do moving gifs.

for gifs i would do stupid/funny moments from the series. like over the top expressions.

Edit: The dvds must have some copy protection to them. They all come out pixelated, and I mean trashy intentional pixelation.

I don't know, I guess I can try checking it out, but it looks like it was an intentional protection thing.

oh, i personally don't care if they put intentional protection on it when im making gifs or amvs. if i can get around it, i will :p
