So I finished the Walking Dead game and cried my eyes out.

Then I was okay and over it and my mom comes into the room and asks 'did you finish your game'

and then I started crying again.

I mean, I knew what was going to happen just cause it was pretty obvious but .... that didn't make it any better.

That's what happened when I played Superman 64...ok maybe not.

I just figured I'd share as compensation for probably not posting in the RPs tonight.

Oh yeah, I also almost won a copy of the Last of Us at SIGGRAPH but some other jerk named Jillian got it :p Or maybe her name was Lillian. I don't know, but I was close. If only my last name was Wong.

Was going to ask how things went, but it seems you're already discussing that on the other forum. Anyway, hopefully you had fun through all or most of the days.

No Comic Con was at the same time as SIGGRAPH. Or rather, Comic Con was Thursday -Sunday and SIGGRAPH was Sunday-Thursday. So basically student volunteers couldn't do both but the press and attendees could :p

They were all mad about it too and I dont blame them. I dont know who thought that was a good idea to set the two back to back. Those guys must have been wiped.

I can understand doing both at the same time. If either was to do their event before or after, the numbers would probably had dropped significantly.

im not sure about that. SIGGRAPH's numbers this year were significantly lower than previous years apparently. And they conveniently changed next year's convention to August rather than Comic Con time.

there also wasn't supposedly as much free stuff given away as there normally is. the job fair was also significantly smaller. i dont think the job fair has anything to do with Comic Con but the rest of it kind of makes sense. Because most people would choose Comic Con over SIGGRAPH. The people running panels/press were traveling between Comic Con and SIGGRAPH and didn't really have a choice....

I just figured having one convention, a month after the other, would hurt the numbers somewhat. I guess you'll lose some either way.

Okay, is it just me or is the Korra Forum suspended? I tried getting in and it said Account Suspended. @_@

It's been like that since last night. Pico probably forgot to pay his forum dues, since airbender.net (and probably his other forums) are suspended as well. It will probably be back up later, maybe.

We should probably use this as a back-up forum, when JoK goes back online, since it seems that they've been going down a lot lately.

I don't know why it wasn't working for you. The first link was the original default forumotion name/link for this forum. It worked fine for me. You must've been hitting the wrong one or something :P

Do you still have a link to that section, where you were getting an error? Maybe I can fix it somehow. Plus it would probably help traffic flow.

These two links should be different from the other. A Forum Free aforumfree, is the default. I changed it two years ago so we could get some better traffic. It really didn't do much.

Normally you have to pay, but for some reason I had these credit things (somehow) and I decided to use them on renaming our site better. You have to usually pay for that.

Anyway the first one should work, the second one won't ever.
