What happened? I don't watch chick flicks.

lol okay, here's what happens:

basically, this old guy is telling this old woman who has dimentia a story. and it turns out that the old guy is her husband and he's telling her the story of how they fell in love. basically, what happened was they met one summer while she was on vacation (she's kind of rich) but her mother separated them. then, she goes to college and ends up getting engaged to some guy. she goes back to where she spent her that summer, thinking the first guy didn't love her anymore, and it turns out he did and re-built a house that he was working on thinking she would come back. and she did and then they fall in love again. but then she has to decide if she's going to spend the rest of her life with her first love or with this other guy that she's engaged to. the guy she gets engaged to let's her go and she marries the first guy.

the old woman figures out what happens on her own because then she remembers who she is and who her husband is. but she only remembers for five minutes before forgetting him again. the nurses take her away and put in her a special room because she kind of freaked out because she didnt know what was going on when she forgot. then her husband sneaks into her room and (this is my favorite part) it turns out they end up dying in bed together holding hands.

lol XD it's not necessarily the story that gets me but the dialogue is just so damn cheesy. really, i just dont get why people like this movie and cry their eyes out whenever they see it. but, surprisingly, i was never really one for movies that focus solely on romances.

Well the idea of people forgetting someone is a common theme in some stories.

^ yeah but the way it was done was cheesy. its one of those things where you have to watch a clip or something just to see how ridiculous it really is.

I actually also watched today Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind that has to do with a person forgetting someone else. But it's done SO much better and isn't cheesy. It's actually weird lol.

All I can think of is Final Fantasy 9 when I think of that theme.

Yeah, Freya one of the main characters, who is a rat. She becomes engaged to another rat, forget his name who is also a great knight, and leaves their tree village. Later when you meet up with him again, he doesn't remember his own tribe, or her.

Lee, did I become an admin on the other Korra forum or something? I got a message on my screen telling me to set my admin password....but no one told me I was an admin now ...........so I'm kind of confused.

Yeah not sure if you saw the two members who flamed each other, but every one of their posts had F*** you in some form, directed to the other. I banned them temporarily, but they were at it a long time before I got home.

I didn't see their argument at all. It was deleted before I had a chance to read it.

Though, I'm going to be honest, I still haven't figured out how to set the admin password........it's kind of staring me in the face. It keeps telling me I have to confirm my login password but there's nowhere for me to do that unless I want to change my login password....

Suffice to say I am a confused child that needs help :p

Just use the same password. It's not like anyone can hack it. Besides I don't want you going into the admin panel and editing anything (especially if you're having trouble with setting a password) I'm kidding I'm kidding!

I just want someone to be able to have power, keep the members in check, and is active.

if you just put in your password and don't add it to the 'new password' 'confirm password' spots, it takes it in as a regular password input.

yeah............i think ive made the same mistake on this forum as well.....so im just a certified idiot.
