Well if you ever pick up either again, I'll definitely read em. They were really interesting! It's not often I get to read stuff you've dished out, especially in your own style.

Oh they'll get finished. It's just a matter of when. Maybe these next coming weeks since my boss will be away I'll get to them.

I also had plans for another story but I don't know when I'll get to that.

What's this other story about? Like what series for example? Also if your boss does go on vacation (or whatever he is doing) and you need that spare/free time elsewhere, take it. Everyone needs to just take a breather.

Is this web series project part of your job with that intern or is this something entirely different?

Something entirely different. It's a class I'm taking. At first, our group was good but then these last two weeks they've been petering out on me.

We're supposed to have our episode written by Friday. Like, polished by Friday. We're still in the draft stage and the only one that's really written it is me. T_T

Now, normally, I don't think I'd be that bothered by it and I probably would have already had it done. The problem is, I'm not a very good writer. At least, I know I can't do our kind of story on my own. I need other people working on it with me. Which is not happening at all.

It also doesn't help that every time I go to write 'Ryan' who's a character in our series, I keep writing Rory instead. And then this happens:

On an unrelated note, during the 150th Antietam, which was Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, they had us do a battle at night on Friday. Normally we only do battles on the weekends, because most are still getting their company streets (camps) set up, because they get off of work and can't set up until later on Friday.

But they had us do a battle, the Cornfield. That was a real battle, fought inside a cornfield. You can imagine fighting an army inside one of those is like a maze, especially in the dark. I was in the rear rank, so every time the front would advance, they'd push some stalks out of the way, which would swing back and hit me. Started to hurt like hell lol, especially the burning. Oh my god the burning.

Anyway the event organizers gave us reenactor tickets, which we wrote our names and contact information on. We handed those in to our officers before the battle and then they returned them after. So if they had extras, that meant someone was left in the field somewhere and we couldn't leave until we found them.

So after the battle, a few of us waited outside the cornfield, and asked every formation leaving, "I'm looking for a Private James Ryan."

...Yeah also that sucks about the group project thing, but that always or often happens with these types.

lol thats pretty funny.

yes, my life currently is not that great at the moment. but as long as i get an A, i dont really care about anything else. i mean, yes, id like to put this web series on my reel. but if the class is going to be one of those 'cant get their crap together' classes and our project ends up sucking, whatever i'll live.

Yeah...it was interesting, but at the same time just poorly planned. I felt like we were making crop circles more then actually engaging other Confederate forces. A frightened deer almost ran me over to...

Normally you don't get lucky enough to have your school work in your demo-reel. Or it won't show your true potential because of time constrictions, undesirable guidelines/rules, or in this case incompetent team-mates.

film isnt really the same thing. or at least, our classes normally dont function that way. we're set up so all our projects are supposed to have the potential to be on a reel or to be submitted to film festivals. or both.

LS all classes have that intention, but it just doesn't work that way most times for reasons I've stated. Yes it can work if you spend time to tweak it after the class is finished, but sometimes it would probably be better to put that time to use in making a different project.

I've used plenty of my school animations in my reels as well, but I've also added more desirable works into it, which were not restricted by the project rules, time constraints, and so forth.

Long ago, LS was actually being productive.

Then everything changed when the Search attacked.

Okay, so I'm watching some ATLA on T.V. and I just got to rant out on the Promise again, sorry.

So I'm watching the Earth King (episode title) where the Earth King (the character) confesses he's never been outside the palace. Now, we know that by season 3, the Earth King realizes he needs to get out and see his kingdom to be a better ruler. This information is given to us in Episode 1 of Season 3 and is also elaborated more in the Avatar Comics that are considered canon.

And then there's this piece of **** known as the Promise where we once again put the Earth King at square one. Not only is he once again a sniffling baby (which although it's never stated, can be assumed he got a bit more assertive while traveling as his attire suggests) but once again he's all like 'oh I've never seen Yu Dao' Bitch please. You should have learned along your travels to visit the city before you make judgements. And, why does he have to tell Katara all over again that until a year ago, he'd never left the outer ring? SHE WAS THERE WHEN THIS HAPPENED.

God, I hate that comic T___________________T
