my post basically said its possible you just subconsciously wrote something similar and how a lot of people do that (myself included) and how there's a psychology behind it about creating the myth. and then i said i was just kidding around anyway and for the most part your ideas are original and im sorry if i offended you. thats what it said in a nutshell....

^ yes i know. but there are certain formulas that humans (in general) use over and over again. The belly of the whale is an example of this. its been used since bible times and was recently used in Where the Wild Things Are. thats what i meant.

no, im saying there are certain metaphorical situations that have been used throughout history in order to symbolize certain ideas. and the belly of the whale was just an example. and it doesnt even have to be a whale. in Where the Wild Things Are, it was the belly of a Wild Thing.

You could argue Aang being on the back of the Lion Turtle is the belly of the whale motif. He went inside the world on the turtle's shell instead of being physically inside the turtle.
