Blood rolled his eyes at Flint's enthusiasm. Of course he would be entertained. And this Marine soldier was only getting worse. Either way, it seemed they were dead in the water. Still, perhaps there was a way they could get around this...

"Are you serious!?" Blood's mind shouted as he heard Flint's last statement. He knew his thoughts were spread all over his face. Quickly, Blood clasped Flint's mouth. "Don't listen to him, he doesn't mean it." It was clear this Marine was going to try and throw them under the rug no matter what but the last thing he wanted was to give this Marine more evidence against them.

Surprised by Hawkin's action, Flint mumbled loudly, as his crew-mates hand wrapped around his mouth. With another wicked grin, the Marine soldier stared at the two. "Well the Captain will still decide tomorrow." He stated, leaving all the imprisoned alone.

There was a simple and short delay in his exit, as another person entered their sight immediately. They were much shorter then the Marine soldier, and was one of the three figures who was standing on the shore, as the storm raged on before.

In fact, it was a child, who glared and frowned at them. She didn't wear a uniform of any kind, but it was clear by their free roaming that they were somehow part of the Marines. They simply wore an undecorated beige dress, which wasn't frilly in the slightest, and had medium length light brown hair.

"So you two are pirates?" She asked in a despicable tone. "We sure are!" Flint exclaimed, as he ripped Hawkin's hand away from his mouth, and smiled happily.

"It's nothing to be happy about!" She quickly barked at the two.

Blood was relieved that the Marine didn't seem like the type that would go prattling to the Captain. Good. Which meant they still had a chance. Blood didn't really pay much attention to the girl until Flint began to blab to her again.

"Yeah, listen to the girl, it's nothing to be happy about!" Blood practically growled at Flint.

"What are you talking about?" Flint asked confused, as the girl glared even angrier at them. "Just shut up!" She hissed, as she stomped her foot. "It's all your fault, it's people like you that cause everyone else to suffer!" She barked furiously, yet there was sadness in her tone.

"I hope they move your trial today! A pirate deserves nothing more!" She added, storming off.

Blood didn't say anything as he listened to the girl. In fact, shortly after Flint's question, Blood let him go and sat back against the cell calmly.

"Kid, if you're going to be a pirate, you really need to learn how to lie," Blood said.

"Hey!" Flint now Exclaimed, "What did I do!?" He yelled out to the girl, who was stomping and storming out of the prison building. Quickly he then heard Hawkins, and folded his arms grumpily.

"Why should I lie? I have nothing to hide...stupid girl." He said with a frown.

"Don't be so hard on her." One of the opposite cellmates, from before, said. It was the man, who stared at the two. "She is very kind to us." The woman added, as Flint dismissed the opinion. "Pft," He uttered under his breath.

"...It's just the Marine Captain's orders and his use for Anais, that brings about this behavior in her." The man explained.

"That's not the point," Blood began gruffly in response to Flint. However, before he could continue, the cellmate opposite them interrupted. Blood listened to what he had to say, taking their opinion into consideration. "What do you mean?" he asked once their explanation was finished.

Listening as quietly as Hawkins now, Flint leaned into the bars to get a better area to hear them from. "Yeah, I don't get it." He replied.

"Of course she channels her anger to pirates, as you've noticed." The man stated, glaring at the two. "I don't know either of you, and I don't judge, so I'll leave it at that." The man replied.

"Anyway, you must be new to this island, am I correct?" The man asked, as Flint shrugged. "Yeah I guess, I didn't even know we were on an island."

"Well where did you think you were?" The woman asked, placing a hand on her hip. "How should I know!?" Flint exclaimed defensively. "We got sucked up by some crazy storm!"

"It's quite a famous spot for the Marine's, because of its features." The man replied, ignoring both comments. "Why's that?" Interested, Flint asked.

"The island is known for its rocky shore and terrain. That's why it's called ShipWreck Island."

"ShipWreck Island?" Flint repeated, confused, yet intrigued.

"It's the easiest way to round up pirates in the West Blue, heading to the Grand Line. And that's where Anais comes in." The man added.

"Actually, we prefer the correct term, Marine Base 77." The Marine soldier from before remarked, as he reappeared. Banging a stick on the man's cell, it clanged loudly, as he grinned.

"What's going on?" The man asked nervously, as the Marine opened their cell. "Your day of judgment has come." The Marine remarked, grabbing the man and woman and dragging them out.

"No this must be an misunderstanding! Ours was not supposed to be until seven days from now!" The man exclaimed, as he tried to force out of the Marine's grip. Yet he was too powerful for the two, "Change of plans, the Captain's feeling eager today."

"No please!" The woman pleaded, as the two frantically pried away, but to no avail, and soon their frantic voices and figures were gone.

Completely unsure what to make of the situation at all, Flint stared dumbfounded the entire time.

Just as they seemed to being decent information, the Marine interrupted their conversation. Blood said nothing as he listened intently to the conversation and watched as the two were dragged away.

He then got up and walked towards the cell bars that were keeping them locked in. He seriously doubted his strength would be able to get through this thing since it was the Marines they were dealing with. But he tried it none the less. However, as he expected, it didn't budge. Blood then sighed.

"Well looks like we're stuck here until judgement day." Blood searched the jail trying to see if they could find anything of use that may allow them to escape. "And when we get there: DON'T say we're pirates." He doubted it would help given the pleas of the other two but still.

Flint shrugged his shoulders, in reply to Hawkins comment. "Who knows, maybe they're actually nice and will let us go." He replied.

Afterwards he went back to the fact that Hawkins couldn't budge the bars in the slightest. Testing the solidity, with a flick of the finger, he then backed fully up to the other side of the wall. "But sitting around here is boring, let's bust out."

He remarked, before kneeling down, to no doubt use his devil fruit powers. As he squatted determinedly, he then lunged forward. "Propel-Pel Launch!" He exclaimed, speeding forward with tremendous force and speed.

He slammed straight into the bars, but they did not budge. However his momentum did not halt, as his head squeezed between two bars, where his force abruptly stopped. There he remained stuck, attempting to pull his head back out, while jerking, and using his legs and arms to push and pry himself free.

"Augh!" He exclaimed annoyed, "Ergh, stupid bars, let me go!"

"Right," was all Blood said to Flint's first comment. The sarcasm was undeniably present in his voice. As he saw Flint lean down and prepare himself, Blood moved as far away from Flint as he possibly could given the cell's space. He turned his head away as Flint propelled himself forward in case any debris should hit him.

When he looked back, he saw Flint was stuck in between the bars.

"You've got to be kidding me." Blood moved over towards Flint and examined his predicament. On one hand, he could try to pull Flint out but he could easily break his neck in the process.

"Ugh!" Flint growled aggravatingly, as he jerked, wriggled, hopped, and attempted to pry free, but was unable to. However he slowly stopped all his jerking, as his legs and arms slumped and slid across the bars. "...I think I'm stuck."

"I can see that," Blood said. Blood then looked around the cell and noticed the slime covering it. It was then he remembered accidentally tasting the nasty stuff before he awoke. He cringed at the memory. "Well, we could try and grease you up with this slime over here."

"Ew, gross!" Flint exclaimed in disgust, but slowly accepted the idea. "Alright, slop it on!"

Elsewhere as Flint and Hawkins dealt with their predicament, the man and woman from before were being pushed through the Marine base exterior. It was a large dome shaped base, surrounded by the rocky and mountainous shore and terrain of the island. It was quite clear as to why this place was built on.

In the center of the base, was a large opened area, with a scaffolding platform. The two were forced up the stairs and onto the platform, by Marines with swords and rifles. All was silent as citizens, Marines, and superiors observed the event to take place from all sides of the circular section.

They stood atop large balconies, which stretched to one end to the other, with the superiors observing it entirely from the middle and a floor higher. Once the two were in place, the Marines then began to ready ropes around their necks, as they stood on a trapdoor. Their arms and legs were tied once they reached the position, so that they couldn't escape. Although an average middle aged person such as themselves had little chance to fight through the Marines present as is.

Once they had done their preparations, the Marines on the platform moved off of the trapdoor, and to the side, where they remained in their soldierly stance. Above the superior's balcony the Captain of the Branch smiled wickedly, as he observed them.

By his side were several others, but most notable was the young girl Anais, who didn't seem as enthusiastic about this event.

"On this Spring day, we come to foresee the trial of two, a man and woman found shipwrecked, and traveling towards the BlueLine. How do you plead?" The Captain asked loudly, and as he finished, he smiled evilly, as if his mind was already made.

"We were bringing medicine to our people!" The man exclaimed, although it seemed futile now.

"By people, you mean pirates!" Barked the Captain, as he then looked at the girl. "Good work, another ruthless band will be put to justice." He added, saddening her, before he rose and dropped his arm.

With that motion, a lever was pulled, and the trapdoor opened loudly...

Blood stood on the wooden bench provided within the cell in order to reach the massive amount of slime accumulating on the ceiling. His hand rubbed over it, scooping as much of the slimy substance as possible. He winced at the sheer sight of it but the overall texture and smell didn't help either. Blood then got down from the bench and walked over to Flint. Quickly, to get the slime off his own hand as fast as possible, whatever slime was cupped in his hand fell onto Flint. He then rubbed whatever remains he could off his hand and onto Flint.

"Okay, now try," he said, taking a step back.

As Hawkins slathered the mass of slime onto Flint's neck, forehead, and shoulders, the stench and goop accumulated and intensified onto him. "Aw man, this stuff reeks!" He exclaimed, as the buzzing of many interested flies, began to encircle him.

Once he was asked to break free again, he tried. Propping his arms and legs onto the bars, he then pushed, pried, jerked, wiggled, and jumped, but to no avail. All the slime did was make him more filthy, slimy, and smelly. "...Nope," He said bluntly, as a large clump of the slime slowly slid off of his cheek, plunged, and smacked loudly onto the floor.

"Quit your complainin'," Blood said after he heard Flint's complaint. He watched as Flint tried desperately to wiggle free. Yet, nothing seemed to work. He must have been really stuck for it to not even allow him to budge. When Flint seemed absolutely certain that this slime was not going to help him in the slightest, Blood shrugged. "Well, I tried," he said before sitting on the bench giving the impression that he had no intention to continue problem solving.

"What!?" Flint exclaimed, as he heard Hawkins last statement. Although he couldn't see what he was doing, he was certain he wasn't going to continue to help him out, as he didn't feel or hear anything. "Hey come on, don't just leave me like this!" He exclaimed, jerking up and down.

Shortly after his outburst, the prison's door opened again. Confused at the noise, he then looked to the door and light coming in, before noticing a Marine soldier. It wasn't the same one from before, but they forced two new people into the man and woman's cell from before.

It was two males, about in their thirties, who seemed completely confused and terrified as to why they were in this cell.

"Well what do you want me to do?" Blood asked. But before Flint could answer, the door opened. Blood was actually sort of glad that someone was returning: it would mean they could maybe get Flint out of his situation. Though, there was also the chance they simply wouldn't care until their supposed trial.

Blood watched as the two men were placed into the previously occupied cell. But he didn't say anything and he seriously doubted the other two had gotten off the hook.

The two new opposite cellmates concerned Flint little, but what did was that the man and woman had not came back. In fact people claiming their spot confused him. Before the Marine soldier could leave, after shutting the cell's door, Flint leaned in as best as someone wedged between bars could.

"Hey!" He exclaimed, which caught the soldiers attention. "Where did the nice man and lady go?" He asked, slightly irritated.

"The Captain gave them what they deserved, and swiftly." They remarked, confusing Flint. "...So he let them go?"

After the Marine had explained their fate, he then directed his attention to Flint's predicament. "You weren't trying to escape were you?" He asked, stepping closer to their cell.

Unable to move his head at all, Flint remained where he was, with his arms wrapped around one of the bars, and his legs pushed up against the steel. "Uh...maybe." Is all he said, to which the soldier stared at them with a grin.

Quickly he unsheathed his sword, walking more quickly towards the two. "Well I'll just see that you can't!"

"What!?" Flint exclaimed, as he was still trapped, with his head unable to move away from the Marine's reach or his blades. "No thanks!" He added, before trying to jerk free again. "Come on stupid bars move! Please! I don't want to lose my head!"

Elsewhere, as the trial concluded, the Captain was seated in an elegant, sparse, and relaxing room. It was circular, with a table in the middle, where he poured delicate wine to enjoy. Sipping it peacefully, he then refreshingly gasped.

There were candles, a lot of alcohol, fine-dining ware, and food all placed onto the table, and was seated for two. However their other guest did not eat nor drink anything, as she sat idly by and upset.

"You did our base another great deed." The Captain said, contently drinking and eating. "Eat and celebrate your own success! You're our little secret weapon!"

Doing as she was asked, she grabbed a small piece of food, but had lost her entire appetite. She still ate the food however, her state never waning. "After our lunch, the 'Pirate' Brothers trail is next, and then you'll coordinate the island's shorelines to round up the noon pirate traffic."

"Ok..." She said void, before rising and leaving from the table. Before she could exit, the Captain stopped her, "Don't disappoint, remember what mother told you?"

"...I won't."

Blood slapped his forehead at Flint's confession. What did he just get done saying about lying? However, his annoyed attitude quickly vanished upon seeing the Marine coming towards Flint with his sword.

"Hey now, hold on there," Blood was saying as he got up from his seat on the bench and moved closer towards Flint. When the Marine was near, with his sword raised, Blood punched him in the face through the gap between the bars, his chest slamming into the bars in the process.

With the first Marine Soldier knocked out, there were already several others bursting through the entrance gates. With swords and spears in hands, they charged towards the unruly cell, screaming their warrior cry.

Frantically yelping, Flint jerked even more forcefully, yet he couldn't budge. "Come on, get me out of here!" He exclaimed, however getting him out of this tight spot wouldn't be a cakewalk.

"All right, all right, hold on," Blood spurted out as the Marines were coming closer with each passing step. He then stepped to the side of the two bars that were currently holding Flint hostage. With his hands placed on each bar, he started to pull the bars apart as hard as he could. His face was quickly turning red as he used all the strength he could muster at such an odd angle. But slowly, the bars were beginning to budge. He could feel them doing so underneath his palms.
