Re: Movies
I tried all those places. I literally spent an half hour while waiting for some homework to render and I found nothing. I did find some short clips on youtube and veoh I think, but they were only a minute or five.

Re: Movies
I tried searching too -- you're right, there's pretty much nothing online. I did find some episodes in parts for you, though -- if you type in "kappa mikey online" on your google search, and scroll to the bottom, there should be some video results. I saw some eps there. Hope this helps :S

Re: Movies
Yeah I checked a lot of places. I even did some Amazon searches, but most are discontinued. I don't feel like buying from independent sellers. I had some problems with that once, they're a total scam.

Re: Movies
It baffles me when people come to Gettysburg and ask what side the "Blue People were on"
Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Smurfs weren't at Gettysburg.
It's just what you like LS, just because you like it, doesn't mean everyone does.

Re: Movies
^ ok no offense to whoever you were talking to Lee but those people should at least know what side the "blue" soldiers were on. the Civil War may not be their favorite time period in history but I mean....good God what is this world coming to O_O.
I know people dont necessarily have to like the movie. im just saying its surprising that there are kids that havent seen what are now considered "classic" movies. thats all im saying. kind of like how people are like "what is wrong with you" when i tell them i havent seen Casablanca or Gone with the Wind <= i dont take pride in that. i WILL see those movies.....some day XD.
anyway, its got nothing to do with what a person likes (at least the Gettysburg thing doesnt) it's more of....i cant even compare those two scenarios. i cant even get over that those people didnt know what the blue uniforms meant. what are they teaching in schools these days?

Re: Movies
It wasn't kids LS, these are older people then me that ask questions like that.
Here's the full list. *Takes deep breath.*
1. Do you use real bullets?
2. How many people have been killed at a reenactment? Me: "You mean like mishaps?" No how many were shot.
3. Wow! I didn't know Italy manufactured all the rifles!
4. Lights cigarette when filling black powder cartridges. (Yup nothing can go wrong there.)
5. What side are the blue people on?
6. What side are the gray people on?
7. What does the blue and gray mean? (Oh is that what it means...you know what's funny? I'm a history teacher.) Me: -_-
8. So are you guys supposed to be Germans?
9. Gettysburg was fought over shoes.
10. Son everything at a reenactment is fake. Touches fire pit...
...There's more...I just lost faith in humanity is all...

Re: Movies
I know you werent talking about kids. Im saying seeing classic movies is something that usually happens during childhood especially when they're disney movies. This is a whole other atrocity occurring. All I can say is what is this world coming to. I thought the NBC thing was bad. This ....this is like....20 times worse than that. Really. It makes me feel like out of my entire class made up of 30 kids, i am possibly the only one paying attention T_T.
ok i need to go and ....ponder this....and wonder what humanity is coming to. This just makes me wish Pandora was a real place and i could go there (I saw Avatar today. It was a very good movie).

These people are the ones that stick out the most, not the most abundant. There are plenty of sharp tools out there, it's usually the ignorant ones that scream the loudest though.

Re: Movies
Still running into them gives the best stories to tell!
I mean what's more of an interesting story?
Having someone ask what the blue and gray means and is a history teacher or having someone ask the same thing but not being into history all that much? Yes! You're right! The history teacher! I mean come on, you're a history teacher for crying out loud!

Yeah I asked him how to do this one coding, since I spent several sleepless days trying to figure it out and he just smiled and walked away. WTF? That was pretty much my reaction...I figured it out though after pulling all my hair out.

lol that's funny! So was the negative comment directed more towards them or you? Either way it sounds like she's an old prude.

Re: Movies
^ you know, i never bothered to ask her who the "oh" was referring to. Im pretty sure it was all of us though XD. And she is an old prude. Worst teacher ive ever had in my life. and 9 times out of 10 i like my teachers.

Re: Movies
I could just tell the way you described her and her choice of words, what kind of person she is. She's the type who is such a tight ass, they think they are in a backwater world and are so mighty and aristocratic. Sort of like Squidward...
