Well they are a big company, I'm guessing they're just trying to cover their asses in case something did happen. Anyway that does sound like a crazy series of events, hopefully you'll be able to complete training and get on with your job soon!

yeah, thats what i figured. i just wish they would have said we could potentially get sent to health services and all this other garbage beforehand. cause honestly, i would have waited until i was trained if i had known.

Well when they told you to go see one of their doctors/physicians, that's when you should had said something. Unless you did, and they just wanted you to still go. They're your boss after all, so you have to do what they tell you to do.

i did say something then. they said i still had to go.

meanwhile, the physical therapist said that i was going to be sore/hurt because im a small person and the cameras are big and heavy. finally someone gets it.

I figured as much, hence why I added more to my post. I doubt you're still in training or leave of absence for 'injuries'...so good luck!

Very nice! What theme is the last picture from? Is that Pocahontas? It might be recognizable for you, but I'm not as huge as a Disney fan as you are.

The last picture is just some pirate guys I saw in front of Pirates of the Caribbean lol. I don't know who they are but apparently they come out sometimes and play music by the ride...

Pocahontas isn't really out at all. She's only in Mickey and the Magical Map unfortunately or when Disney is doing Long Lost Friends Week. That and a lot of characters surprisingly....it's kind of disappointing :/

Also your post, that is pretty much what having a job is like. It's not just Disney Land, it's any job where you're working full time and being very busy. Just to let you know :P

I can see that...I also thought that you made the one picture so blurry on purpose. Like it was supposed to be one of those confidentiality pictures, so no ones identity was out in the open.

Pretty cool about the Halloween theme. I guess they would do something for each season. I only went once, and that was to the one in Florida, when there wasn't really a season/holiday going on.

I can't remember most of the stuff that happened. If I thought long enough about it, I could probably remember most, but that was way back before I started high-school.

The Halloween theme is awesome. They changed one ride called Space Mountain to a ghost ride and the Haunted Mansion gets taken over by Jack Skellington and becomes his ride. There's also fall decorations all over the place. I can't wait for the Halloween party they do.

The Mad T Party also gets zombiefied. It starts off with them mild zombies and really only the dormouse is a zombie and then by the end of the night, they're all zombies. And they do an awesome rendition of Thriller. I'm gonna go film it tonight because it was just too awesome XD

For the record, I tried to get higher quality images of the other band members but my camera can only go so far when it's dark out and without a flash....I actually used the flash anyway for these even though we weren't supposed to....

I'm pretty sure you're done with any kind of training and doctor visits :P, so how are things and have things been going so far at your new job? I see you taking pictures all the time, but that's when you're off the clock. Was just curious.

Also what would you say would be your favorite part, so far?

Actually, the saga with the doctor is far from over. I'd rather not go into though because part of my frustration is having to explain the same damn story to different doctors.

In terms of my job, it's okay. I mean, I've been stuck in Cars Land for most of the week and well....I don't like Cars so.........

My favorite is when I get to do character shoots (except Cars). I've only got to do one full day of characters though :/ But tomorrow I get to shoot the villains and that's really exciting. If not, then I get to do the characters in their Halloween costumes.

I'm still hoping they give me a Jack Skellington shift. I requested it so hopefully I'll at least get one shot.

I know you hate Cars, but the theme they have for that attraction is pretty impressive. Not everyone builds a fake mountain, just for an amusement park. Also sorry about your doctor problems, I had thought you said you were done with it. Well, whatever just keep visiting them lol, the laugh is on Disney. They're paying the visits and bills right?

So does anything special go on during Halloween? Or is it basically the same theme that is going on now, just that it's the actual holiday?

Oh yeah no Cars Land is beautiful and the music that plays is great too. I'm just saying, I don't like hanging out there and working there cause I don't like the movie. Cause as a photographer, I'm most likely going to have to shoot McQueen and Mater at some point during the day and it is annoying as hell. Not only are they just annoying with what they say, they are also extremely loud because of their engines and it's frustrating.

Also for Halloween they do Mickey's Halloween party on certain days (one being Halloween) but all I know about it is you get to wear your costume and you go trick or treating. I don't know the details.

Ok...I'll ask. What is going on in the picture? What does that have to do with Disney?

Also not everyone gets the chance to work for Disney, so I wouldn't complain too much about noisy engines. :P
