Why what?

-The moose in the pool was just cause that's what popped onto youtube when I went to log in :p

-The summer thing is well...i dont know. i guess since i was going to be leaving later in the summer i was expecting people (namely family and friends) to want to do stuff with me before i leave since they were all talking about 'oh what is this you can't leave blah blah blah'. but instead its like pulling teeth to spend time together and ive pretty much just been by myself so far. its kind of depressing.

i just figured that since this could potentially be my last summer in nj people were actually going to want to do things. even if it's just spending time with me doing little to nothing.

Welp.

People aren't going to do things, unless you ask them. And I don't mean like a last minute notice. And you also can't expect people to just drop things on a whim, to spend time with you. I have little spare time as it is now. That's mostly cause of all my different jobs.

I can't actually name anything currently, where I had enough time to spend away from work to do things that I used to during Summers.

Umm...I did ask people. And yeah, I understand people can't just drop on a whim to do things with me. but its to the point where they're free, they just don't want to do stuff with me. I mean, school's ending so they don't have as much homework, my other sister's off from school, and my mom is off. i cant speak for my friend because i dont know her schedule.

i guess it's just me but if i knew my friend and/or family member was moving away and i didnt know if they were coming back, id want to spend time with them.

Oh well, you can't force em. And even if forcing worked, would you really want to spend time that way? Just go do some stuff that you might want to before you leave. That and spend time with your family/friends doing their stuff. Just ask if you can join.

It took me forever just to pull the sword out of the stone.

I was playing it earlier today. I got a copy from the local library.

Umm, not sure what part you're talking about but I'm talking about where you have to first lift the Skyward Sword out of the stone with the Wii Remote.

And I'm already stacked up on potions :p And the Spirit of the Sword said that was unnecessary. Little does she know my spastic tendencies.

Yeah that's what I meant, the way you have to move the wii-mote for Link to act is way different then it is in TP. It's a lot more technical. You could angle your sword anyway and he would flawlessly strike in the same sword style pattern. In SS, he mimics your wii-mote angles perfectly.

So in other words, you're more likely to screw up then in TP.

Actually, I was playing today.

And I think I have proven that you can be a complete spazz and still somehow survive this game. Like, I don't know what I did but I beat the first boss pretty easily. I died once but that was because I forgot how to drink the potions x_x. But then I remembered and he yeah he was down.

Like, I don't even know what I did to be honest. XD

I'm about to head over to the goddess cube location and then the second area.

You can't be a spazz and not know what you're doing in SS. Maybe in TP, but the complexity of the controls is on a different scale.

Skyward Sword introduces you to Big Bad Ghirahim as the boss of the first dungeon. Up until then, you can get by OK just by flailing your sword around at most enemies. If you do that against Ghirahim, he will utterly destroy you. And talk smack at you for playing like crap.

Ghirahim is an interesting case in that he's a decent Wake Up Call for newcomers to the franchise, but for Zelda veterans, he's the biggest alarm clock in the world as he shows you this is NOT like previous games where you can relentlessly hack and slash at a boss' weak point once it's exposed. Skyward Sword uses the motion sensor, and if the Skyview Temple's eye puzzles and new and improved Skulltulas didn't make that clear, Ghirahim is there to hammer the point home.

So I'm going to say you got lucky.

Anyway you're going to have to know what you're doing to a degree soon, otherwise the game is going to be hard. That or impossible.

You got to swing the wiimote flawlessly left and then right and up and down, with no room for error, if you want to cross that bridge.

Yes, I somehow managed to play the game while also completely 4 or so pages of the fic.

Next year or so, the Smash Bros Wii U will be out, along with a lot of other nice titles. It looks like every console did pretty well at E3. Normally they've been lackluster for a few years, but looks like they're getting back into things.

I'm going to get it for the Nintendo 3DS. the Wii Fit Trainer and Villager from Animal Crossing will totally be worth it.

Kingdom Hearts 3 was announced finally!

And Xbox One sucks.

That's pretty much what I took from E3.

The trainer feels like an ass grab, but the Villager from Animal Crossing will be neat. I'll get it for the Wii-U, only so it will be better looking. Plus I have one :P

I'm a little disappointed that they haven't implement any of the characters for Golden Sun at all. It was an amazing game, besides the DS sequel/third installment, that just sucked. At least make Issac and Garret playable...

I also wonder who they will use as Fire Emblem characters this time around. Probably the ds version, which I haven't tried yet.

I'm still waiting on Phantasy Star Online 2 to get over here. Early 2013 release my ass. I already know why though. Sega is such a xenophobic and racist company. They probably don't even intend on releasing it.

^ The only thing I got out of that entire speech was the Wii Fit Trainer is an ass grab, you like the villager, and Sega is racist.
