^ what do you mean?

im saying when people watch a show/movie/whatever, they have certain feelings based on what they watch. some people are aware of what specifically is making them feel the way they are, some aren't. and usually, it's a collective feeling/experience. im just saying it's likely a lot of people have the same opinion but they don't know why they do because they are more passive viewers. and im just offering why some may have the opinion they do without really knowing why.

it's like when you watch a movie and some people don't realize that the sound design, shot, etc. is making them feel a certain way. they're just passively watching the movie without knowing the full extent that everything was set up so that they feel a certain way. that's what i meant.

Not too big of a fan of MAD. They do make some brilliant skits, but most seem rushed.

im not either. but i am a fan of Thundercats :p

Well not saying I hate the show, just some of the skits are lacking now. I really enjoyed their Adventure Time Skit though, was really funny and cute.

i dont watch MAD. only occasionally. the only shows i currently follow are Modern Family, Young Justice, and Thundercats. thats it really. and Psych when that comes back on. otherwise, i barely watch tv.

i never really followed shows, even as a kid. i just keep forgetting to watch it. XD

If you never followed any show, you wouldn't be watching most of your animes.

on one hand, i think the protagonist looks pretty badass. but on the other, i think Disney (and now, Pixar) is trying too hard to make their princesses 'not your typical princess'. i dont think there's anything wrong with making the princesses modern but i dont think they need to be so obvious about it and beat us over the head with this idea.

What? About the princess/female being rebellious or breaking away from norms? Get used to that, it's be a reoccurring theme as of lately.

about the fact that that's Disney's marketing strategy. i dont care that she's actually different, im just sick of constantly hearing about how different said princess is when after you watch the movie, you see that they're really not so different.

In a world where this Princess is the same **** you see over and over again...

you just have a strategy that brings back the nostalgia of the past princesses. where it makes you want to see it because you remember watching the other princesses as you grew up. and for the kids you make the association with the other princesses.
