4th wall? what's that?

I once had a dream that I was stuck in some concrete like maze. Then all of a sudden Death came through the walls, or something that looked like him. You know those ghostly demon things from Harry Potter movie? They kinda looked like them, but I dreamed it up way before I even watched the movie.

So I choose to go the other way and wherever I ran, he was right in front of me. Eventually he got a hold of me and began to stab me. When I woke up, where I was stabbed actually stung.

They're called Dementors (sadly, i remember their name). i think they're design is based on banshees. I dont know but I know they were around long before JK Rowling came along. the one from...its called Darby O'Gill and the Little People...scared the crap out of me as a kid. and its a disney movie so you would think id be okay with it XD.

i dont think ive ever had a dream where ive woken up and i feel the pain from it. but i have had moments where i can feel within the dream. or something....

Oh, i've heard of hundreds of things like this. for example, there was one that if you dreaming that you were falling off a cliff, you'd die in real life if you hit the ground in your dream. shockingly, that last one was actually proven, but IDK how they knew what they were dreaming.

The only times where something like that has ever happened to me is that when I am in a small space in a dream, my body, while sleeping, feels like it is actually cramped. probably the nerves woke up while I was asleep and the rest of me didn't for some reason or something.

I've also, strangely, always know when i'm dreaming. no matter what happens, i'll always know that it's a dream, and I can force myself awake most of the time.

^ you can die in real life if you die in your dream and you really believe it's happening to you. some people have a heart attack because they get so scared and think its actually happening to them.

i dont always know when im dreaming but ive had times where in the back of my head i know im dreaming but for some reason i continue on with the dream. its weird.

yeah, it's like you are living the dream, but yet still know it's a dream and go along with it.

That still doesn't really explain how they knew he was dreaming of falling or something. Do they tap into his mind with psychic powers? They hire Professor Xavier for a little help.

The death, which made me laugh, it's evil I know...but it's kind of pathetic. There was this guy who lodged in another man's house. Well he was in the hallway of the building or something and spotted a snake. It wasn't caged or anything and it was dark. He freaked out and died, probably due to a heart attack or some heart injury. Well it turns out the snake was just a stuffed animal. What a way to go.

That sucks. Yet it makes me want to plant stuffed animals of dangerous animals around my house as a security measure. =p.

That reminded me of an old story I once heard. A girl goes to a haunted graveyard at night on a dare and is terrified. she entered it, stayed for awhile and tried to leave. when she walked a little bit, her dress was caught. she assumed that a ghost/skellington/zombie/whatever had her, and screamed. when everyone one heard and came, she was dead. she died of fright, and a branch was what had caught on her dress.

^ yeah ive heard that story and many variations to it.

So since I have this illness, I'm not sure how active I will be during any part of the day. I couldn't even go to work today and today and the next day look kind of iffy to. Just wanted you all to know.

Awesome! Well I hope you have fun. I hear it's supposed to rain, hopefully that's not around your corner.

Remember when I told you all about Alan Wake? The game is pretty nice. It's still confusing as to what happened...kinda like Lost. I don't know if the main guy died or not or what happened to his wife. It was really confusing.

The game is all about darkness. These dark spirit things that lurk only at night because they are vulnerable against light. Which is why your guy needs a flashlight. But that doesn't kill them, it only bothers them and if you weaken them enough, then you can kill them if you have a weapon. But they multiply, so don't waste batteries or ammo!

I won't give too much detail about the game in case you want to buy or play it, unless you tell me otherwise.

Here's a clip on how the game plays. I think you would like it LS. This is the 3rd Chapter or level. It's a great way to explain the darkness. Although the darkness can eat bearshit for killing the dogs.

ive heard we're supposed to have nice weather. i dont know, i dont listen to those silly weathermen during the summer XD.

i went to wikipedia for Alan Wake. i dont have the system for it unfortunately.

though, in LOSTs defense, Alan Wake's ending is a bit more ambiguous than LOST's ending XD.

also, are the dark spirits only the shape of bats and things like that? or do they end up looking zombie-ish at any point? if i ever played the game, i would never be able to play it at night that's for sure XD.

No the darkness has no form. It kills what ventures in the dark and manifests it's body. It can't thrive in the light or day, but if you run into people at night, they might be the darkness.

If you haven't watched it all, at the end, those things were the dead police men. They chase you and have all the skills and weaponry that that person or profession has. Like it manifested a logger once and so some guys were chasing me with a chainsaw. I couldn't see them since it was foggy, but I could hear the engine roaring.

It also can manifest objects, like poltergeist. Like once it manifested a bulldozer and it chases after you through a logging site. All the while breaking through walls and stuff that blocked your course. So it's like your guy has to go through a maze to escape, but it doesn't. So you need to be quick or get squished.

and here i was hoping those policemen were alive and well.....

x-x definitely a game that must be played in broad daylight.
