every year we go to this guy's house for halloween that has actors running around trying to scare people. and one of the actors asked my sister's friend which member of the Akasuki he was. and then the three of us started talking about anime and the guy showed us some of his tattoos.

then 'freddy krugar' came and tried to scare me. but i just stared at him XD. and he went away.

Interesting, sounds like he just wasn't do too well of a job.

for some reason, i am terrified of horror movies but things that happen around halloween dont scare me. those people running around never really bother me. i actually thought one of them got hurt at one point because he like fell....but he was really trying to scare me and i didnt know it XD.

I help with this haunted house lawn every year. They go all out, but it's only the front where kids come to get the candy. There's smokescreen machines that shoot out dry ice mist at random times. There's also sensors so when someone comes into touch with one, something like a wolfman will spring up from behind a tomb. It's like right in front of your face when it happens.

Then when you get to the door to open it for some candy, that activates a gust of smokescreen which has a high pitch screaming noise. It's pretty cool, half the kids that see it are terrified to go to get the candy. The others are like...I'm just gonna gun it, and when they do things scream, pop, and blast, which scares the hell out of them.

Oh yeah and I just recently bought a new game called Alan Wake, you would probably like it. It's a psychological horror action game. I won't give spoilers, but it's nice.

I just bought it, so I'll tell you how well it plays. I mostly read reviews and saw trailers, but it seems interesting enough.

if stuff doesnt pop up and scare me ill be okay. but for some reason, i have a feeling thats the type of game it is XD.

The one game I told you about earlier this year, Silent Hill Shattered Memories, was really good. It was also a psychological horror game. There were these demon burnt victim like things, they were the size of kids. You never knew when they would arrive. The whole game was in the dark with a flashlight.

The game made an irritating screeching sound, like static noise and beeps that were very rapid. The farther away you were the lower it was, but if one was right next to you it would go off the scale and the screen would get a lot of static.

^ i remember, i read the entire summary of silent hill...all of them XD.

and i also watched a couple of vids. but from my memory, it would have freaked me out gameplay wise. story wise though it was interesting.

They react to the flashlight. Well they're supposed to be demons from some ice place, so they can detect heat. The light has the smallest trace of heat, but they can feel it. Once you hit them with the light they freak out.

yeah im not too keen on the idea of being in the 'dark' and just having a flashlight to protect me...while they can jump on me, pull me down, and drag me places. thats just creepy.

i read the summary for the other game...the Alan Wake game...it sounded cool. but again, creepy things coming at me while its dark...

see this is why me liking Halloween makes no sense especially since i cant even watch the trailer to Silent Hill without getting freaked out.

not yet. but i have claimed that something was laughing under my bed after watching a Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode this year in Media Literacy XD.

its funny yet sad. i dont think i would have had the reaction if i knew what buffy the vampire slayer was about. i thought i was about only vampires...not weird alien-looking things that cut out people's hearts O.o. we were also in the dark when i watched it which only added to the scary experience.
