New news for the Avatar Movie!

I figured some of you might just zip right by the movies thread without reading it so I made this thread so we can post as more news comes our way.

Dev Patel as Zuko and Noah Ringer as Aang have been suited up in their costumes and pictures have been taken. Night did a darn good job and had a nice selection of designers for these two. I wonder how Momo and Appa will look and all the other characters.

Pictures found of Sokka and Katara for the Avatar movie, not sure if you've seen them yet, but I have to admit they look pretty good.

^ i saw them =D. they do look decent...at least better than i thought. im actually excited for Sokka. they said they made him less goofy though so i just hope they didnt take away his comic relief....

The pictures I've seen of him make him look the role of a Water Tribe member. People don't understand that appearances can be fixed with good make-up artists.

Though I don't really know too much about the man playing Sokka or his previous roles I'll give him a chance. He does look pretty cool for the Sokka role and looks can be deceiving. *Cough*AsAiFoundOut*Cough* It doesn't matter if one doesn't look like the personality if they can act it.

The few pictures I've seen of Katara though...eh kinda iffy. They make her look to primpy or maybe that's just the girl playing the role.

^ i didnt know about the trailer.

i just knew people had seen a very early draft of it. i personally didn't see anything worthwhile about their reviews considering it is an early draft and most of the negative comments can be due to the fact that the reviewers havent seen the show so things may not make sense to them (like Sokka's personality). but since you posted the trailer, i figured id post it =D.

by the "trailer looked cool though" i meant in reaction to the negative comments about the movie. Since I think the trailer looked pretty darn good. much better than I anticipated. And I love the shot of Sokka and Katara that is identical to the opening of the show. that was a nice touch i thought =D. i hope they put it on youtube or something soon (maybe they have already) because at times the video did lag a bit for me. where is Appa, i didnt see him though. Perhaps due to the lag....

He's in the background of 9 secs to the left side. It's where fire balls are flying all over the screen, it's him I know that.

Also watch the super bowl halftime commercials, that's when the full trailer will be released.

Turns out the trailer was just as long for the superbowl, there was nothing new added.

I saw that website earlier, I did some running around in it. The Earth Kingdom wallpaper has the Kyoshi Warriors or Avatar Kyoshi, either way they look very neat!

I was just about to say "guys, the weirdest thing happened to me. I was watching Ghost Hunters and then all of a sudden a trailer came on. I thought it was one of those scifi original horror movies so i tuned out but then all of sudden I heard someone say 'Zuko' and I looked up and it was the full avatar trailer." XD.

To be honest, I actually liked the shorter trailer a lot more.
