One Piece; The Great Pirate Era

Staggering completely out of the wreckage, Flint wiped his sweaty forehead, before taking in a deep breath. It was now over, or at least it seemed that way. He had time and enough of it to lower his guard. Which he did so immediately.

Dusting himself off, he turned to the damaged stage, before digging into it. Here he quickly pulled out a small sign, which was the title of the outdoors theater. Sweeping whatever dirt was on it, he then tapped it into the chest of some nearby gypsy.

"Here," He said. "I did it, and I saved your theater to..." Flint explained, looking back to the heaping pile. Slowly a loose piece of lumber snapped off of an upwards frame, clanking into the mix. "Uh sorta...you can still do some plays. You just gotta watch out for those loose boards."

Once it was clear the Judge was down, two of the gypsies cautiously approached the Judge as they prepared to tie him up. A guard wearing gold colored armor instead of the dark grey everyone else wore signaled to his men to help the gypsies.

"Uhh...thanks," the gypsy that had the sign replied to Flint, unsure what his reaction ought to be about the condition of the stage and the fact the Judge had been defeated.

"You did good kid," Blood called from behind Flint as he walked towards him along with Captain Trouillefou.

"You have helped my people tremendously," the Captain added as he held out a hand for Flint to shake. "Thank you."

"Thanks!" Flint said in regards to Hawkins, "You did alright to." He added, the two, a dirty and smoky mess. Rubbing his hands gleefully, he grinned eagerly. "So where's that big feast for us?"

"Settle down my friend, that will be all in good time," Captain Trouillefou replied. "First we have to clean this mess." He then motioned towards the broken stage, the carts that had been knocked over due to the crowd fleeing the fight, and those that were still fairly injured from the fight.

And so, the cleanup began and the wounded were tended to including Blood and Flint. Eventually, the townspeople slowly came out from where ever they had been hiding and were assisting in the clean up. Those that could went out to sea to call for the Court of Miracles to return. Once it had, it was not long before the festivities were prepared.

Colorful banners, flags, confetti and the like decorated the main square. The platform had been completely removed. But that did not stop the gypsies from providing entertainment. Just as there had been on the Court of Miracles, dancing and music filled the square. However, it was on much grander scale as if they were at a festival. No longer wearing their disguises, the gypsies were once again wearing their colorful outfits including Captain Trouillefou. Children were playing with the goat from before who was standing near a small puppet stage. And here was where the Captain was: wearing a complete jester outfit, one that was more colorful than his previous attire, with a mask as he controlled the puppets in front of him including one that was a miniature version of himself.

Just as promised, there were a number of tables set out within the square some filled with food in a buffet fashion while others were left empty for anyone to sit and eat.

Flint wasn't too eager with the cleaning up duties, however he did his share, like everyone else. Once it was taken care of, a nearby doctor patched a few cuts, including a tightly wrapped bandage for his head, which stretched to his forehead and jaw.

"You really ought to be more careful," He said almost lecturing without a tone, wrapping the bandage more tightly. "Your head can't take a pounding like that, with such powers, let alone your other limbs!"

Smiling, Flint chuckled. "Well I seem to manage alright."

"You should really look to figuring out how to better work it." The doctor finally remarked, as his patchwork was finished.

While the incredible feast and festival began, Flint was already digging into the buffet. Grabbing a plate, which he crammed full of a variety of different meats, and a tiny side for vegetables, to get his greens, he rushed off shoving several meat sticks into his mouth.

"Hawkins!" He exclaimed, with a mouthful of meat sticks sticking out of his mouth. He popped out of nowhere, behind his partner. "You got to try these, they're amazing!"

Surprisingly, Blood was already having his fair share of food. His face was cleaned by this point though his clothes had been badly burned to the point where he was now wearing a new set of clothes: a white tunic with the sleeves rolled up, a brown vest, pants, and brown boots.

"Way ahead of you there kid," he said. While he didn't sound too drunk yet, amongst the things he carried was a bottle of beer.

Noticing the alcohol in his hand immediately, Flint's expression soon changed. "You're not going to get out of hand again, are you?" He asked, with a slight irritated tone, nothing too obnoxious.

Blood frowned at Flint's comment.

"No," he replied in an offended tone. However, at the mention of the alcohol, Blood popped open the bottle with his teeth before taking a swig.

Sprouting straight up, and thrusting his arms into the air, Flint became even more energetic. "Whatever! Do what you want!" He exclaimed. "It's time to party, cause we're leaving with our new boat tomorrow!" He added, before rushing off, with a piece of food in hand, a drink in the other, and merrily joining in with the other energetic gypsies.

The rest of the food Flint had mostly dropped on Blood's feet as he went to rush off and join the party. Blood tried to step out of the way of the falling food as it came crashing to the ground. Once Flint was away, he went to one of the many tables and sat down, enjoying his meal and drink.

The woman with the tambourine was once again one of the centers of attention in terms of the dancing along with her goat. Of course as soon as Flint came by, everyone seemed to cheer.

The party went well into the night. So much so that most were asleep for a majority of the morning. It wasn't until the early afternoon that people began to finally awaken including the gypsies who were preparing to present Flint and Blood the boat they had rightfully earned.

Blood was drowsy and not entirely sober but he was sober enough to know what was going on around him. Like he had said, he hadn't gone overboard the previous night. But he still wasn't necessarily in the mood for Flint's antics whatever they may be.

As the night carried on, Flint enjoyed the festival. It was much more grander then the 'dinner' they had before, and even better than any celebration he had ever been to.

As midnight carried on into the morning, Flint was still energetic, eating and drinking to his hearts content. Even as the others began to call it a night, either from free will, reluctance, or just dropping out, he continued the party with whoever was left, engorging on the fine meals, music provided, and dancing.

Once he caught glimpse of a drunken, tired, and resting Hawkins, he smiled gleefully, before running up to him. "Hey drunky!" He exclaimed loudly, as he waved. "Isn't this just the best party ever!?" However once he fully noticed that Hawkins was awake, but out for the count, he stared confusingly. "Hey hold on, why aren't you partying?" He asked with a frown.

Half asleep, Blood stared at Flint looking as though he were about to fall asleep any minute.

"Kid, it's six o'clock in the morning. The party's over." His head falling back, Blood then began to snore in his seat.

"That's no reason to sleep it off!" Flint exclaimed, before pouring his beverage all over Hawkins face. "Drink up and enjoy our prize!"

Blood coughed in agitation as the drink came all over him.

"What the hell kid!?" When he had calmed down, he looked at Flint. "Jesus kid, let me sleep for a few hours. Go party with the goat if you're that desperate."

Frowning as Hawkins still didn't budge, Flint grabbed and shook him. "Come on! That jester guy told us he was getting our boat! It's going to be here soon!" He exclaimed as he continued to shake him. "Come on! Let's see it! Let's see it! Come on! Come on!"

"The Captain's asleep you idiot!" Blood yelled in agitation as he pointed behind Flint. Sure enough, the Captain was asleep, leaning against his puppet stage with his puppets in hand.

"Well he sent someone then!" Flint exclaimed, "Because I saw them heading that way, and they said so!"

"You just aren't going to let this go are you?" Blood replied dryly. "All right, fine." Reluctantly, he sat up, ruffling his hair before finally standing up. He stretched a bit in hopes of waking himself up though his stretching was deliberately slow as if to purposely torment Flint.

Growing impatient from Hawkins slow stretching and groaning, Flint frowned as he shook anticipatedly. "Hurry up!" He barked out slightly irritated, "If you're having trouble waking up, I can get us there in no time!" Flint exclaimed, as he proceeded to bend down.

Blood immediately stopped stretching.

"Alright, fine, let's get this over with," Blood said. He was no longer waiting for Flint and instead heading in the general direction of the harbor where he had no doubt the ship would be.

The walk to the harbor was a short one. But when they did reach it, it was lined with various boats of all shapes and sizes. The Court of Miracles was there along with the smaller boat they had used to land on the island. By this small boat were a group of men who were working about. Seeing as there was no one else by the dock, Blood guessed these must have been the people Flint were referring to.

As Flint hurried towards the docks, sometimes with Hawkins trailing behind, as he tried to sober up, he spotted several people near the large ship of the gypsies and some tiny boats. Waving energetically and happily, he smiled.

"Hey you guys!" He exclaimed loudly, so that his voice echoed and trailed over to them. "How is our boat coming along? Is it ready?" He asked, waving and hurrying towards the group.

"Not yet," one of the men said. "We're still stocking it up."

It was then Blood noticed that the men were actually taking things off the small ship and no doubt carrying it to the new ship.

"Oh, well ok!" Flint exclaimed, half way to his destination, as he rose his arm to wave warmly. "Well, just tell us when you're done!" He added with a smile, before turning around to head back to the dying party. There were still plenty of drinks and food to sample, before they went bad.

The man nodded before continuing his work.

However, although Flint may have turned around at this point, Blood continued to watch the man move towards what undoubtedly was their new boat. Whatever the boat was, it was nestled between two fairly large ships and was therefore blocked from view. He then followed Flint back towards the party where he would hopefully get some more sleep.

The hours of the morning went by luckily with Flint being less disruptive. At least, less disruptive for Blood as he slept soundly throughout the morning.

Eventually though, people began to awake as if the spell of the after party was over. The men from the harbor returned around early afternoon presumably with the boat prepared. Trouillefou was awake by this point and ready to see the two off.
