Korra Nation

You might know this already, you might not. Anyway someone pointed out that David Faustino, who is the voice actor of Mako, has said in one of his Tweeter replies that Korra will be released this Summer.

I don't know, the way he explained it doesn't seem very convincing to me, but I thought I'd pass the news.

I also heard on a Nick forum that they said it was coming out in Spring. but the Nick twitter people won't confirm it.

basically, i think Nick's just screwing with us at this point in time.

So far I've heard Spring, Summer, Fall, what's next Winter? I honestly think they're just the middle man and the big wigs won't tell them much. So they're just going by what they hear.

No I'm sure someone knows, but they are the higher ups who fail to communicate properly. Hell I didn't even know what Avatar was until I saw the third or so episode. I was shocked that such a beautiful animation was even on Nick, with what crap quality it often dished out.

^ they advertised the **** out of Avatar though. i mean, it was ALL over the tv with ads on Nick.

Before it even aired? Because I don't remember seeing a single commerical of it during that time.

^ yeah there were commercials everywhere. that's the only reason why i actually remembered to watch the premiere lol XD.

That's weird on account that I think I used to tune into Nick a lot during that year...maybe I didn't. Whatever.

yeah....but your 'a lot' in terms of advertising may be different than my 'a lot'. it was enough to keep me reminded to watch it anyway. which is a very hard thing to do since i never remember to watch tv shows :p

Well apparently Mike and Bryan might had listened and heard some of the fans who were concerned with the lack of a release date.

There's also some kind of prize sweepstakes thing for this Korra Nation, where you can win a bunch of different Korra related prizes. Go here to see the rules and prizes possible.

What you do is log onto Twitter or Facebook, register for KorraNation where it says sign up in the link, and apparently tweet/post the link you're given after you register. They ask you to post it everywhere you possibly can.

I doubt we'll have a chance, especially on account that there's probably someone whose going to spam the hell out of every possible account, stay up and on the net for 24/7, and probably has a bot account to help out.

That's pretty much what I automatically assumed. There are too many people who don't have lives or work out there to try to outlink them, especially when I have a job, and tons of chores once I get home all the time, like cutting down trees.

This contest is stupid, there should be more chance involved, otherwise you're pretty much promoting people to just sit at their computers all day and have no lives to win.

^ there is chance involved. it just depends on what prize you're going for.

the comic con trip is one entry per person when they get to 75 points. when the person reaches 150 points, they get free music.

its the next two prizes after that that rely on you to get points first.

Not surprisingly, I caved and am going all out with this damn Korra Nation thing. Only because I found out on Tumblr there are still prizes available in the limited spots.

I got the music definitely. Now waiting to see if I can get the essentials...not sure what those are though.

I'm not going to get sucked into it because I probably won't get anything. I'd rather use my time in other productive ways, like playing FallOut :P

I got the signed poster last night. Totally wasted my life away and, assuming the KorraNation email system didn't crap out and just sent anyone who reached 500 the letter, I think it was well worth it :p

I'll share the music and other stuff with you if you want. since it's digital prizes...like iTunes music and episodes.

sure! when they send me the link or whatever they're going to do, ill email you a zip file or one of those 'savebigfiles' websites. they've haven't sent anything to me yet so...yeah. i honestly dont think they expected the fans to go as crazy as they did....
