more like disappointed XD. i really wanted that last arc to be animated. the OVA of it sucked in my opinion. it didn't have the comedy of Kenshin.

and im also talking about this on the Ranger forum so I can't remember where I'm saying this stuff :p

Well then I'll talk about some other anime:

I've decided that whatever money I have left over for school, I'm going to go on a shopping spree on Amazon and get Clannad After Story and the Disney Archive Series: Design. The books I think are going out of print and it's only $30 instead of the usual $50. And now Clannad After Story is being sold by amazon so it's free shipping.

Yeah I think you told me that to, but that's good news! I think I need to take a picture of this post and plaque it, as I never thought I'd hear/see these typed words of you caving in to buying a box set.

It's not an anime, but I really want to get my hands on the second season of Justice League.

I just wanted to make sure I got the best price. But seeing as I'm going to get something else off of Amazon anyway, it makes sense now to buy it from Amazon in one shot.

That, and I only buy box sets for series I really like and think I'm going to watch over and over again. Clannad After Story was a must. Baccano! is a must as well. FMA Brotherhood is a probably.

So did you already order them? When are they expected to be in?

i didnt order them yet. i plan on doing it by the end of the week. i have to go school shopping first to see what i have left over which i haven't done yet.

You haven't bought your school books yet?

no. two i can get via the kindle and that literally takes seconds before it gets to the kindle.

the other is a bar chart and i have to get that through the school because i don't know which one the teacher wants and there's no image for any of them online.

and the last book is $130 + so i ordered a lesser version from the library until i decide if i need to actually waste the money on the newer edition. most my professors are 'hands on' teachers and they don't use the textbook so im not going to waste the money on it until i know i'll need it. that, and i don't read the textbooks half the time anyway :p

Normally the books I need to get are only offered at the school store since they're rare. If I can I buy them used. Luckily most of my classes recently haven't had the need for any books. But then again I'm coming to an end with my college.

my school's retarded and if you want to get them from the school store, all my books are on special order. amazon has all of them and two are on the kindle as i said.

i rarely buy my books from the school store unless it's an emergency. most of mine are online and cheaper online.

Also sell your books to people who you know are going to take the class sometime soon. Don't bother selling them back to the store (unless you don't care and just want to get rid of them)

I know someone who spent over $300 on books and then couldn't even buy off of the dollar menu once they sold them back.

actually, my school is pretty good with selling back books. usually, if a book is in the $100s, i get about $80 or so back.

Don't hold your breath. You might get lucky a few times, but don't expect that all the time.

hence why now im trying to avoid the expensive book or i buy it on the kindle if i can cause it's way cheaper. it's like more than half off cause it's digital and then i dont have to carry the stupid thing around :D

So did you pick up your One Piece set yet? Have you already started to watch it, despite the coming storm?

i figured ill start watching it tonight. i haven't started it yet.
