Early suggestions

actually, i think the site has died.

the first one is definitely down.

the second one is possibly down but it's the one that froze for me. it's the second link when you type in 'avatar rp'

it's called 'Avatar the Last Airbender RP Site'

it seems we're not the only ones having this problem: a lot of other boards went through the same thing. both sites say 'possible revival' and the first one mentions a possible revival due to Korra.

We're just going to have to affiliate and get the site known on other places.

That site doesn't even have any posts from 2011 except for the revival you were talking about.

i would say ASN again but i doubt they would do it.

i dont know any other avatar site.

oh wait, there's also distant horizons but i dont know if they're still around.

They are I think, but I think they're also dead.

ASN was dead previously too but they had their whatever you call it (server system...i dont know) almost crash a couple of times before the SDCC panel even started =p

^ Well I'm not holding my breath for any kind of activity like that, but for all the work that's been recently done within the past year on this forum, I want it to show.

Been thinking about this for the past few days and I'm going to work on creating a background wall paper for the forum. It will relate to our newer forum banner (if you think that it's a keeper)

At the top will be the blue sky with some clouds and the further you scroll down will be the mountainous peaks. I've already searched on Google for some landscape and screen captures of Avatar, so I'm going to mesh them together to make the mountain wall paper. I won't be making it wilynily, so it might take some time to look good.

What do you think? Do you think that would make the forum appear more interesting? Is the gray wall paper just too bland?

Well I'll make it anyway. Seems a bit bland at the moment.

even if you just change the color scheme to match the banner, that would be good. it doesnt necessarily have to be an image.

LS I think our advertising is working, we got the most users ever online today. To bad I wasn't on to check it out...

i did see though that 18 people looked at the flyer on ASN.

Well some of those views could had been from me, as I made some final touches and whatnot.

See, it doesn't count members who read it. It just counts how many times it's clicked or refreshed. I wonder how many people actually bother. The latest entry before ours was back in 2010.

That's good news for us in that our thread will remain at the top for a good bit, but bad as well. If no one is using it, there's probably a reason.

yeah, that's true. but people might go back now that Korra's back.

Maybe, we'll just have to see. Oh and check below at the far left of our forum, we got 13 likes, so that must mean those 11 people might had came from Facebook!

Yeah it's really not a huge concern of mine. I changed the color of the forum layout, but I can easily switch it back...I don't know. The color is brighter and grabs my attention in a I'm not asleep anymore kind of way lol.

yeah, i think it's better brighter. is there a way to change the grey to a less grey color as well?

Yes, but for now I need to keep it that color because of our posting icons.

And once I change the color, you're going to have to give your honest opinion what you think of the second color choice.

I know you always say give me time, but right after I need to re-edit the posting icons and all that other stuff, so that it fits with the color.
