I don't know which one I like the most. I thought I didn't like the second one because it was only set in the future, but that was like 15 minutes of it and when I sat down to watch it all I realized how much I missed.

i like the first one better than the third. i havent seen the second so i dont know.

They all have little bits in them that foreshadow what will happen in the other movies and underline parts that already happen, but in nice ways. They just don't blatantly blurt it out in dialogue.

i dont really remember the first one enough to agree or disagree with you.

Well someone was watching a Clint Eastwood movie, which was irrelevant to the actual scene at that time. It was like in the fuzzy background, but you could make out that Clint had an iron vest on.

So later Marty replicates that in the third movie when fighting Mad Dog Tannen. Things like that.

What are you even looking for quotes for? I know it's a project but what do you need them for?

i have to make a portrait of myself so im making a video with quotes that i like XD.

A video of yourself with quotes? I mean if it's a portrait I think you have to be in it somewhere.

^ no you dont. you can do an abstract portrait of yourself. like put in things you like. you're supposed to use videos from youtube. so im doing a sort of music video but im having quotes place sporadically.

You should place some Avatar and Naruto quotes in it, and have it so it sounds like they're actually talking to each other.

^ im going to try to incorporate as many things as plausible. i cant use all the quotes i want to for many reasons:

1. a lot of them have music behind them so it's too loud and overpowers the music im using (this has happened with a majority of my quotes).


2. i got to find the quote on youtube. which is not as easy as it sounds. i lost a couple of quotes because of this.

3. sometimes when i download the video, it doesnt work x_x. i dont know why this happens.

i think ive got a good chunk of the quotes. i started with a Walt Disney quote so i want to find another good one and end with that. i was thinking about doing a naruto quote but i dont think im going to because i dont plan on putting naruto in it. ive already gone over the 'supposed to take this much time' suggestion so i really dont want to go hunting for more clips when i already downloaded a crap load.

That can be easily brought down with some sound software programs. Like Soundbooth pro, I'm sure your school has something like that.

Plus all of those stupid ass AMV's plague the real original files and sometimes they're of bad quality to. I hated it when I would be looking for Naruto scenes like Lee and Gaara's fight (the speedy part was just awesome) but damn everyone and their brother had to slap some stupid song on it. Hardly any of them if any at all matched the animation or what was going on.

You have a labtop right? What kind? Is it a mac? Do you at least have something called Imovie? Look through your programs, I'm sure you have something that records sounds. Go to a silent room with no sounds, none at all.

Record the sound away from everything including electronic devices (they cause static interference even if you can't hear it.) It actually works most of the time. Then just do some editing in a sound program to fix it up if it needs it.

"Oh well excuse me for not seeing his greatness! I was too busy watching him crawl from underneath a turtle!" Quote...ah that one always gets me.

again, there are problems. for some stupid reason, the sound editing program is in a different lab that i have access to. so, final cut pro is on one computer while the sound editing program is on another. and i cant get into the other lab yet because my card key doesnt work yet. so i cant edit it in another program.

i dont mind editing from a music video someone else made. my issue is because i want to incorporate anime quotes, the actual quote might not be online because the people who own the rights to it dont want the anime on youtube. i wanted one awesome quote that i knew was on youtube but it was taken down because of this. i ended up using the japanese track instead and im just going to put subtitles to it because the quote is too good to pass up.

i have a pc. and im using sony vegas pro. and it records the sound. even when the video is a bad video that doesnt work, the sound still does. but the image is gone. and i want the image with the quote. like, i have a lot of instances where the quote will begin with the original image but then cut to a different one. but the image doesnt work so i just have the quote...and that makes me mad XD.

Just raise some hell and they'll be more likely to let you in. You've already paid your tuition fees, at least I think so. So just use that excuse to get them to listen to you more quickly. Normally the louder of a fuss you make the quicker they help.

That's what I meant. If you have some stupid Old McDonald song playing the quote is going to sound horrendous.

Could you just read the quote yourself and place it in the footage? Add some emotion, whichever was used. Than you have another way it's a self portrait since your voice is in there more than one way.

^ it's not just the problem of being let in. id have to go from one lab to the other just to get the thing done. and i only have four hours of lab time because i couldnt do the other lab openings. which is why i actually started editing in sony vegas even though we technically werent supposed to XD.

and yes, i could theoretically quote myself. but im a pain in the ass and i want the quote from the original source. as i said, luckily ive figured out how to use sony vegas so i can edit at home as well. i just have to look for different quotes. i only need a few more actually.

ive been working on the project pretty much all day (getting side tracked in between of course) but im almost done with it thank goodness.

i was supposed to go in today to work on it but i wasnt feeling well because i got a little squeamish from a foot surgery i had yesterday. so i had to email my teacher and tell him that i pretty much have to do most of the project on my program rather than final cut since the only other open times are when i have class.

Kingdom Hearts was a part of it but it was mostly me resting in between.

I just had something removed from my foot. I dont remember what it's called but it can appear for numerous reasons one being a bug bite (which most likely happened). It's like a bump but it was on my ankle and it hurt whenever i pressed against it. so i got it taken off cause it was annoying me. But this morning I felt woozy from having to change the bandage so I couldn't go into the school to work on the project and i had to stay home. im just glad i didnt pass out @_@.

but yeah....i just got the email that i could do the project on sony vegas (which i was going to do part of it on sony vegas anyway XD). which is good because i dont see why i wouldnt be able to use sony vegas anyway. professionals are using sony vegas as well as final cut so if i know both programs thats an advantage =D. and i already knew what we've learned so far about final cut pro anyway =/.

I just bought Lunar Silver Story for the psp, which is pretty much doing what Kingdom Hearts did to you. I played the older prequel/sequel (I don't know what it was) version for the GBA. This one is really interesting and it was dirt cheap to!

Although I haven't been playing it nonstop though. I put in about an hour today or so. I think you would like the game LS, I think it's right up your alley.

^ what's it about? now that i asked for the psp, i got to buy more games for it. im doing good and i plan on beating all the games i get for it. i beat one and am in the process of beating the second one so ....yeah! let's keep this nice record going XD

Very nice video quality and the sound was clear. From what I could hear that is. Can't bring up the volume too much lest I want to have some pain in the butt professor bark drivel at me. And no I'm not in class, but I'm not taking chances after witnessing what some of them had done.

I really enjoyed a lot of the clips. It showed a history of many different films and shows. Made me remember a bunch of shows/movies I had forgotten!

Good job! I had to do something similar to that. We had to do a trailer, I did mine on Avatar, the Boiling Rock.

As for the game, I don't want to spoil too much about it. Basically their are four heroes of legends who saved the Goddess during her time of need. A ax weilding beast, a elf mage, female mage, and the main legendary hero Dyne the dragonmaster.

He is the only one who died of the three later on after their adventure. Alex, the main protagonist honors Dyne and wants to become the next dragonmaster in line. To do so he must pass several trials, travel the world, and meet the legendary hidden dragons on his own.

That is hardly the tip of the iceberg of the story. It gets more complicated than that and Alex and his companions realize that they are in something bigger than they had thought.

we have to do a trailer later down the road. from my understanding, we have to make a trailer for the same movie but marketing it as two totally different movies. so one could be like a ridiculous spoof (sort of like the scary mary poppins trailer) while the other could be like a legit trailer for the movie.

and thanks for the summary! i didnt want a whole explanation, just a little bit. i checked wikipedia and there are a number of them so i didnt know which one i should have looked into.

I think Pokemon was pretty big for everyone, around our age at least, at one point in time or another.

And yeah sort of like a lab...kind of a hall way lol.
