I'll be working 40+ hours on the week with this one job and then + 12 the weekend. So I'll be pretty booked up all summer long.

That's pretty much what I did every summer and why I haven't had a vacation in years. It's the only way I can get money for education and whatnot...I'm normally done and burnt out by the end of the summer.

Like when Who's site nosedived, I had that same kind of schedule. I used my spare time in the evenings to get things settled from all that crap from the Viagra Raid, I'll manage, but it won't be one of those happy wonderful peaceful Summers.

I haven't had one of those since I was a kid lol

What do you mean? When your little sister gets older you'll have to get a full time job or something?

i mean, i have vacations and happy wonderful peaceful summers because of my sister, yes. because she's still young and someone needs to watch her. and my other sisters dont do that much with her so she's pretty much stuck in the house entertaining herself when they're home. plus, my mom still takes us all on mini-vacations on weekends because of her. and if we go to a theme park, it gives me an excuse to act like a kid when she's around XD. and it also gives us benefits when characters walk around because she's cute.

yes...younger siblings have the best benefits. what am i going to do with her grown up =O.

That would be cool to be able to do that stuff.

Even when I was laid off due to the crappy economy I wasn't able to sample life's simple pleasures. Mostly cause of slave driving workers who paid me...like a slave.

that sucks. during school, i basically become the "stay at home mom" where im the one who does the chores around the house in the morning but then gets the afternoon off while my mom works. and then during the summer, we both become part time workers. thats how it was this year anyway because im the guinea pig when it comes to college. so we didnt know what to expect with work load at college so i didnt have a job during the school year.

and good thing i didnt because i ended up working on Alice and now next spring im doing an independent study on dramaturgy.

Sounds interesting. Is there a script or some kind of movie about that? It would be cool to see your play!

Also yeah if you work during semesters the best hours are around 15ish to none. Maybe 20 but anything more is pushing it. Your work loads will suffer if you plan on getting decent grades. I only work about 10-6 hours normally during the school semester, but then anywhere between 40- 40+ Up during the summer. This time I'm guaranteed 40+ hours lol...to bad none of it will be overtime due to two jobs. If things get too bad I'll just cut down the hours.

we were supposed to get a video of Alice but I never got mine. im going to the teacher in the fall to see what happened with that. for all i know, it might not have been finished. and i dont think i could put it up anyway because it's entered in a contest or something...and the contest winners aren't announced until December.

I do have the script though...somewhere in my email.

and yeah, work during the year wouldnt have been the best for me this year because i was doing schoolwork whenever i didnt have classes and classes were late for me some nights. so the only plausible time for me to work would be on the nights i didnt have classes...and i dont function well at night to begin with XD.

Well when you're allowed to talk about it let me know what happened! I'd like to know how it all went. You were Alice right?

no i was asked to possibly be Alice at one point but the director and I decided no because the rehearsals were very late and i didnt have a ride home that late at night.

however, if we enter the contest, the girl who played Alice was a senior so she probably cant do it if we get accepted. and if thats the case, ill audition again because rehearsal will be during winter break and not when i have to worry about schoolwork. plus, the director will probably want someone who knows the play already...which would be me =p. but thats all circumstancial. i dont know how many plays we're competing against just to get in.

i can talk about it, i just dont think im allowed to post the video or anything. basically, it went through almost all of Alice in Wonderland and a good portion of Through the Looking Glass. the costumes, props, and sound effects were mostly made out of simple household objects to give the appearance as though children were putting on a play. and Lewis Carrol was a character in the play.

there are cowboys in Avatar. Zuko Alone and The Chase have cowboy-like scenes in it.

The Chase is supposed to be reminiscent of The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. and the plot of Zuko Alone is typical in cowboy movies.

At least from my understanding of it all. I dont really watch cowboy movies.
