I am, as some of you may know, a Haruhiist, even if I'm a little late to catch on.

Haruhiists are people that accept Haruhi Suzumiya as their god, from the show "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya."

ummm....ive seen the show.....but I don't accept her as a god.....the show was nice though ^^

I have quickly seen the light and joined the Cult of Haruhi, also known as, like I said, Haruhiism.

It's an epic show, especially when Haruhi extorted a computer...

I've seen the dance, haven't seen the show. The dance looks goofy, come one you can't deny it, it does.

Also I heard the main girl is a huge marysue, if that's the case I'd rather not watch it. I'm not a big fan on perfect main characters.

and i wouldnt call haruhi a mary sue. she's a complete weirdo. you said Ai was crazy wait until you see Haruhi. She makes Ai look completely timid. =P

Well, she's not really a Mary Sue, in the traditional sense.

She's athletic and all, but it's not like she solves every problem with ease.

If anything her better than average capabilities create MORE problems.

It's a good show, none the less.

No, she literally IS (a) god.

Well, not really. She's more like a magician, IMHO. She can alter her surroundings (I JUST RUINED ONE OF THE MOST BASIC, EARLY SECRETS OF THE ANIME! OH NOES!), so people jokingly regard her as god IRL.

In the anime, they really DO regard her as god.

She even has a mock religion that follows her: Haruhiism.

(Note that I'm not capitalizing "god" unless it's the first word of the sentence... I'm only willing to go so far with this...)

And now your god has been replaced by another. How will she cope? My only guess is the ultimate description of you from your defection of her religion.

Fortunately, AFAIK, Haruhi hasn't awakened to her powers.
