In the game there's these skits that pop up. You have to hit the Z button on the controller to watch them, I normally do it for all of them unless for some reason I can't. They're usually either funny or develop the plot. This one in particular breaks the fourth wall, which was great.

If you've never played Tales of Symphonia and have a GC get it now! Don't bother with the sequel on the Wii. It was icky, they made these two new characters and the old cast made cameo appearances. That wasn't the worst of it, that would had been ok with me if the two protagonist were stand alone characters, but they were horrible. The only redeeming thing about their group was Tenebrae, their black talking sarcastic cat. He was pretty much like a more talkative Roister.

The two characters Emil and Marta were like poorly made Fan-fiction characters. You know the kind that are like oh wow let's make babies now hur. Emil hated Lloyd the main character from the first game and they made Lloyd become the bad guy for no reason. He was all like "I kill you now ok? Cause I'm bad like that." It seemed like a horrible fiction made by a hormonal preteen age girl, where she slapped herself (Marta) into the story so she could have babies with the main guy, who was a whiny ass one minute and then abused everyone verbally and almost physically the next second.

As far as I'm concerned it's not a canon series. I know it was made by the creators, but I'm not ruining the first games reputation by linking those two together.
