Re: MERRY XMAS
So how was everyone's Christmas/Holiday? Mine was pretty great, I had some great holiday meals to eat! Then I got Avatar Season 3 Box Set along with Tales of Symphonia Wii, the prequel to the gamecube version. Tales of Symphonia was a great game if you've never played it and own a gamecube I suggest buying it or at least renting it.

One of the very few times that an English Version blows the Japanese theme out of the water. Literally blows it to the sun.
Spoiler: The game is pretty interesting, it's one of those stories that during the journey you realize that you're the bad guys. Or helping them out at the least.

I've heard of that game - apparently it's really awesome!
Haha - I got 2 pretty red scarves for christmas this year and a "Forgotten English" desk calendar-thingy (the type that has all those quotes and fun facts inside) 0_o My family and I don't really do christmas gifts anymore - we give each other gifts just because we see things that make us think of each other, so it doesn't really matter whether we give it on christmas or not. My dad got the book he's really been wanting, though - Sulman Rushdie's Enchantress of Florence. He's been bugging us about it ever since Sulman Rushdie was interviewed on our local CBC at the end of the summer, and he said to me "Go buy that book for me. Then read it and tell me what it's about." Hehehe - the only books he's actually fully read, I think, are his IT and Accounting books :S But it's ok since I'm psyched to read that book too, and I like talking to him about the things I read and the movies I watch!
We usually just hold a big rowdy family party during Christmas ^_^ It was tons of fun this year - I slept til 3p.m. the next day!!

Re: MERRY XMAS
Which one the Avatar DS game or Tales? If you're talking about the Tales game it is fun. Though if you haven't played and beaten the prequel on Gamecube there would be a lot you wouldn't understand. The thing that sucks is the good guys from the prequel are the bad guys now. I hate it they were awesome! Now I have to play as these generic emo, tough, skinny guy losers! Sorry but animes and some games as of lately have been suffering from this disease known as skinny feminine half naked men syndrome. And don't even get me started on the women.I've heard of that game - apparently it's really awesome!
It sounds like you had fun! I also enjoy just celebrating the holiday with the family. Plus the delicious cooked food is a bonus!
lol that sounds like my dad, oh he also reads the obituary. What is it with old folks and the obituary? Are they expecting to see their face in the listing?the only books he's actually fully read, I think, are his IT and Accounting books :S

Re: MERRY XMAS
Ah nice when did you get a Wii last time I heard you mention consoles you still owned only a gameboy. Well Zfish I think you would really enjoy both Tales of Symphonia's. I would suggest buying the Gamecube version first, since you have a Wii you could just play it on their.
It's pretty cheap since it's been out since 2004. Though it's a really great game. I would recommend the first before playing the second though.
Yeah I played Fire Emblem, it's interesting to see the differences of the prequel to the sequel. Like that not everything is going well even after the victory of the good guys from the past game.
So where are you in the game?

Re: MERRY XMAS
Yeah that's what I did with that game. Cutting down in the already small numbers that the game gives you is not the best strategy.
So who's playing the Wii more? You or your dad?

Yeah, I was talking about Tales. Apparently its a really great game - there's this show "Tales of the Abyss" which is apparently supposed to be based off the Symphonia game (I think there's a Tales of Symphonia show too, actually....). The show isn't that great, I think - you can tell that it would be way better as a game than a show.......
I hear the Fire Emblem games are really good too. Marth and Roy were featured in Smashbros Melee - they were a lot of fun to use to beat up other characters :P Although, my favourite character is still Zelda/Sheik!
I didn't know Eoin Colfer was still coming out with Artemis Fowl books :O Looks like I have a long way to catch up to - I haven't yet read a single one of them, even though I really want tooo! I have read another one of his books though - it's a sci-fi adventure called "The Supernaturalist". The story was really great!

i remember reading the supernaturalist, it was a good book.
anyway, you have time to catch up with reading Artemis Fowl. Eoin said he won't wight another one for at least 3 years. and even then he's not sure if he'll make another one.

Lol, that's because Tales of the Abyss is a game, then they made an anime out of the game.

Sounds great, hope you have fun! All of you! Happy New Years!
I heard about the Fire Emblem and Tales animes. I really want to see the Symphonia anime and maybe the Chrono Trigger anime. It sucks that they stay within the Japanese shores and never travel outwards. If they do I never see them.

Happy New Years!
So how was everyone's Eve and New Years? Was it fun? Did you watch fire works, or something different?
I worked for half of the day on the Eve. Started to snow and was really windy so nothing could really get done so we packed up. I got to watch some nice fire works in the woods during midnight from a nice tree, and then had a good meal today!

i beat Kingdom Hearts RE: Chain of Memories for new years. i was annoyed that Diz and Namine's voice actors were not the same....but what was even more frustrated was Kairi's voice wasn't the same...
the extra cutscenes were so worth it though =P and Mickey was so cute ^.^
and then i beat Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2 again.
then i watched the special features of Wall E. i tried to watch the movie but....it wasn't working >.< so i went to bed at around....11:30ish but i dont know what time i fell asleep ^^
the end =D
