Still Alive (...This does go here, right?)

This was a triumph… No, wait, wrong Still Alive.
First of all, I now know how Brightside felt when he wasn’t here and why he wasn’t coming back…
So yeah, I’m still alive guys. Between a few colds, back work in school, and problems with my… saner… grandmother (I’ll explain later. The rest of my family still isn’t done face palming at what happened), and a good dose of procrastination, I finally made it back!
I'll explain either tomorrow or Friday why I've been gone. It's 11:30 right now and I need sleep.

I didn't know what happened to you. It was like you just fell off the face of the Earth...well at least for this forum anyway.
Glad that you're well though!
(As for the RP, the FanFiction chapters, you might want to read some of them. I've been editing pretty much all of them up to chapter 36, which ends at page 3. Just letting you know since I've given Roister a crap load of screen time in most of them.)

Okay, now for the overdue explanation, now that I'm more awake.

Least Legit excuse ever: Anime.
And here I thought TvTropes will ruin your life/eat up all your time... I'll post in the anime thread later about what ones I've read/watched.
First and foremost reason, stress caused by grandmother:

- I think I left about the time when my grandmother had to have surgery on her foot because blood could not get to it. It turned out that 90-98% of almost every artery was blocked, and it was lucky that she didn’t get a heart attack from it. After a few weeks in the hospital, she was living with my family. In our spare time, we were helping her move around, and we got her a motorized scooter to move around in. Instead of eating healthier, she decides to eat the same fatty foods that she’s been eating.
One month later, heart attack. She was in the hospital for a few more weeks. She was meant to go into recovery right after that, but she came home with us, against the wishes of the doctor, and my parents.
A few months pass with only my grandmother kibitzing and complaining, and she falls in the bathroom and breaks her shoulder. she apparently had an accident, and after cleaning some of it up, started spraying fabreeze. she slipped on the fabreeze on the tile floor.
After returning from the hospital from that, a week later, she got either the E. Coli or the C. Coli, I didn't hear it that clearly. It is very contagious and my father, whose immune system is bad enough, has enough medical problems without getting that as well. my grandmother is going to a nursing home this time, no matter what she says otherwise.
Second reason which ate my time: College courses

- Mainly my English course. Half the course is the writing half, which is almost over. Thank god. The next half is the critical reading, which should be easier for me.
Anyway, my loathing of essays did not help me get the papers done in time, the rough drafts were done last minute, but the rewrites got me better grades. Latest paper was an 8 page research paper over a controversy in whatever field you are thinking of going into. I want to get into videogame design, and I did mine on violence in videogames. I got a B+ on it, which is good considering the teacher is good at finding some fault in most papers and "Does not believe in giving 100s. ever." The teacher also has a number of... quirks that make the class less enjoyable than it could be.

^ Wait, you're in college all ready? O-o. I thought you were still in high school. Or did you take the college class in high school?
im also sorry to hear about your grandmother. while that does sound annoying, i still can't imagine putting a family member in a nursing home.

Yeah, didn't you say you were in 11th grade? At least that's what I thought. I know that some people cram senior year with college, did you do that?
Also sorry about your grandmother, she sounds really hard headed...like some of my family members.

Yeah, I'm a senior now (Wait, the years half over already? nooo... it's going by too fast!) and I'm taking a number of college courses. I already took Spanish 4 last year. this year it's college Economics, Calculus, and a College English course.
And about the nursing home, my maternal grandmother is already in one with Alzheimer's. My mother even said about her "She is a lot nicer now to me now that she can't remember me." my Paternal grandmother, the one I was talking about, is the stubborn one who needs to be in one, because we cannot take care of her anymore.

yes! i win.
i took the same AP courses you're taking except Economics. and I took Italian 4 instead of Spanish 4. though, I will say taking the College English is worth it in my opinion. Then again, it probably depends on what teacher you have...
i think it's sad when someone is nicer to strangers than family members. almost my entire outside family is like that.
