Re: Literature!!!
lol it will probably happen during the weekends. Since it's pretty late today, it will probably be underway next weekend, or maybe during this week if I have some time.

Re: Literature!!!
yeah for films class. we had to make too. i finished finalizing one for the film festival. the other one i have to finish the second draft. then once when the second draft is handed in, i have to go back and fix it so i can submit that one to the festival too. and it's all happening in a matter of three weeks or so.

Re: Literature!!!
Wow sounds like you got your hands full, lol so do I during the week! I just had some extra spare time this weekend and figured I would use it to have fun.
Anyways, are you in college or is this high school? It sounds oddly like a college film class.

I'm going to have to read The Things They Carried for my English class next year.Loyal Subject wrote:the final one i have is "The Things they Carried" which is based on the Vietnam War.
I'm going to have to read The Great Gatsby later this year, and I read Lord of the Flies in seventh grade. In my opinion, Lord of the Flies was the worst book that I ever read.Loyal Subject wrote:there's also the Great Gatsby and Lord of the Flies.
lol, that was great! I didn't notice that until the second time that I read it.Lee wrote:Also if you don't notice when Ai and Ryuzaki are first shown Lee is in the background running away from a pill hand.
You still have my permission as well. ^_~Lee wrote:
I'm also starting some ideas up for Roister, since like I told you all I'm going to draw each of your characters with your permission. Considering I still have it.

Re: Literature!!!
high school
the reason why the deadlines are so close this year as opposed to previous years (normally they have until mid April to fix everything) is because my teacher wants to put all the film festival films on a disc and send them out to judges so we can get a better variety of judges. usually, theyd have to attend the festival and score the films during the festival. he wants to make it more like the Oscars this year. so they'll have plenty of time to score them.
though my class is full of lazy people and if we end up not having a film festival, im going to be so mad. especially since ive spent hours editing both films so i could actually win an award at this school >.<
edit: ill admit, the beginning drags so much. but the ending is pretty sweet. =D

Re: Literature!!!
You have to show it to us when you're finished! If you want to that is. Though I would still like to see it...if you want to that is....on the other hand I think it would be neat.

Yeah! Brag all you want! We'll hold a post celebration! Even if you don't make it to the first! It's the effort that counts!
Anyways has anyone read Float Plane Notebook before? I had to read that in High school. I didn't think I would really like it all that much, but it is pretty interesting. It has some funny parts in it, since it gets into everyone's perspective over the years of the family. < It gets into the perspective of Meredith the son and his cousin Mark as kids and they do some wild things. It gets pretty funny, like one time they went to an construction site during night and went on one of the machines as kids acting like it was a tank. They started playing with the buttons to pretend they were moving it and firing shells, when they turned it on and it started spewing out concrete, making a racket, and causing all sorts of chaos. They panicked as they tried to turn it off before it damaged anything, lol that part was the best!

Re: Literature!!!
^ I just read the summary (i know, it took forever) and it does seem pretty interesting. Unfortunately, I'm in a full fledged obsession with The Looking Glass Wars that everything that I try to read that isn't connected to the series in some way I can't get through. And I've tried maybe three books and I just can't do it. I think the only way to resolve this obsession is to buy the graphic novel called Hatter M that is based on my favorite character in the series. I finished the second book in a matter of 2 days because I could not stop reading it. It stinks because now I have nothing to read that will fulfill this obsession, but I'm finding other ways. Like going on the book's website and finding out the Lewis Carroll Society formed a group outside of some place the author was and chanted "Off with Frank Beddor's (the author) head". and I could go on with all the other needless facts I've found out but I'll just bore people or possibly scare them =P

I've made a super awesome story today! No....it's not Bloody Bandits. It's for school, a script for school! And I think I did it pretty well! Yay! Hopefully the teacher thinks so...
