I've been meaning to tell you this but I've never gotten around to it. I found out we have a 16mm film camera. It was a pretty neat find...I actually think it was my dad's or something. But I just looked at B & H to see how much the film costs and it's expensive XD. It's around 100 bucks for black and white 400', 40 for color at 100'.

oh well. not like my school has the equipment to transfer film to digital :p

Oh yeah when I took photography black and white, a film roll cost about $25 each. So you better not be snapping away foolishly :P

Didn't help that I was an amateur at the time and had some film over and underexposed. It's neat what you found though! Did it have any film reels in it?

^ unfortunately no thats why i was looking at the price for film lol. I would have used it had it been in it and not had anything important on it.

and yeah, i havent figured out yet how to control the exposure on the camera. its very old. i just figured out how to shoot and open it.

No I meant film that was taken, but not developed inside of it.

As a job. thank goodness. though extended family were there because some cousin was graduating. or something.

it was kind of funny because at one point, my one cousin (shockingly) came up to me and said hi. after i realized the world wasn't coming to an end, she asked me 'oh hey have you seen colleen' and i was like 'uhh...maybe' all the while thinking to myself 'who the f*** is colleen' lol XD. i dont know anyone's name on that side of the family :p

the principal of the school also used pixar movies as a metaphor for the kids during his speech. and i just kept thinking 'everyone else go home. this guy is the best principal ever.'

So I finally finished the editing on that video.

I know that feeling. You know that Civil War book about the company I portray? I told you about it a few times, but it's the only one with the best and most information out there? It went out of print in the early 1990s, way before I started reenacting...

Well I found it on Amazon years ago for $300 and up, but now I found one for $40 and while that is still pricey, it's still better then $300!

i can't say if this is exactly the same feeling. i dont know about you, but i felt like a total dumbass while also proud after figuring out how to open the tube :p
