I actually want to play WindWaker again. I always loved that quirky style. It was so colorful, unlike most of the Zeldas. WindWaker ends the Old Hyrule era.

I'm actually seriously irritated right now that I haven't played Skyward Swords yet or Ocarina of Time (but mostly Skyward Swords). And, that I still CAN'T play the damn game. Because I still don't have a Wii @_@.

I think part of this irritation came about because I finished unpacking most of my video games (some are still missing somewhere) so now I'm just staring at a bunch of Wii games I can't play. And, there's a whole bunch of Skyward Swords gifs on Tumblr with Link and Zelda being absolutely adorable together.

T_____T

on the positive side, KH 3D is coming out soon which means I'll force myself to buy a 3DS as a 'replacement' for my Nintendo DS. And then, I will buy Ocarina of Time with it.

If you're going to get the game only because of the Zelda and Link interactions, don't bother. She hardly has any scenes in a lot of the game. Also bird riding gets about as boring as sailing with Wind Waker. Looks kind of awesome at first, but then after repeated use it gets old quick.

I liked SS, no question, but I feel like a lot of it is more like an interactive video then a game. Sure people in tumblr might be spazzing out and getting you psyched, but you said it already, they don't know how to express themselves without caplocks :P

Part of what I liked about the older Zelda and other games is that they allowed you to play and control the character. Then graphics came in playing too much of a major role and it's all about just placing the controller down as the character(s) do everything via CGI/scenes.

well considering KH has a lot of cg cutscenes, i think i can live with it in Zelda. i mean, i think the beginning of kh2 was like 10 minutes long or some ridiculous thing like that. and i enjoyed every minute of it.

plus, i liked sailing in Windwaker. I don't know what you're problem with it was lol :p. sometimes i just sailed aimlessly in the game when i was bored.

I think the beginning of Zelda is like an hour long. Granted you do get to control Link here and there, it's a lot of touch the controller, then put it down to watch this scene.

Also what is your problem? :P Sailing through the seas was totally boring. Actually it was more enjoyable then the sky though. I'm just giving you a warning is all.

Right but when the game is fifty dollars or more, it's not worth it. Most of us buy games we can actually play. Otherwise you're just watching a really expensive movie.

Look I don't mind CGI scenes at all. You'd have to play Zelda to see where I'm heading with this.

It's like this.

FI: "This strategy looks difficult to do."

Me: "Alright, let me see if I can do it then."

Camera pans through the strategy thing (whatever it is)

"...So are you going to let me do it?"

Camera pans through entire strategy thing, blatantly showing what to do.

"...Really?"

I mean that's just one of the things. There's so many other unnecessary CGI and whatnot.

It's still a good game, but people really over-hyped it. I think OoT and WW were a lot better.

Play OoT first and then Twilight Princess. Those two games are connected and it's really cool to see the different lands and how totally transformed they've become (because they're about 1000 years apart)

I had a lot more fun with games like WW and OoT, I'll just say this Syward Sword was a little too linear. A lot of the other games allowed you to explore the world a lot more, which I found enjoyable.

I'm not too far in the Zelda 64 3DS version, but I hear it has a lot of new added features...so I don't know what you want to do with that.
