As Bobby lay there, a faint wailing slowly became audible. Sure enough, the silver figure which had became a nightmare by this point was gliding towards the man.

Elsewhere, Quiver thought nervously about the situation at hand. Suppose if their plan didn't work? Was it okay to put a civilian in such danger regardless of his crime? She didn't think so. And she couldn't help but to worry about it. Not to mention, there was something that bothered her about the whole situation. If the banshee was actually Caroline Keen, why hadn't she gone after Bobby before. And, even if the banshee wasn't and had somehow become tied to this case, it still didn't explain why she hadn't gone after Bobby first.

Sure enough, the banshee took the bait. Placing a hand in front of an nervous Quiver, Crusader shook his head in disapproval. He knew she wanted to attack and stop this plan set in motion, because this person seemed to be in danger, but it was a risk needed.

Quiver didn't say anything as the Crusader shook at her. Yes, it was true she was at the edge of her seat as she watched Bobby in the situation that he was in. But, at the same time, she knew better than anyone the importance of timing and waiting for the right moment to strike should she need to.

The banshee continued its slow process towards Bobby. What seemed to be preventing her from flat out killing him with her scream was the fact that he was tied up. It was also because of this that she moved so slowly towards him. But she was making progress, just inches away from him now.

As the banshee drove in closer to the unconscious bait, inch by inch, and almost breathing down its neck, Crusader was ready to initiate his next step. Within the dark dim moonlit park, lights immediately began to switch forcefully on, with a metallic clank.

These lights all aimed onto the spot where Bobby and the banshee were, sending forth wave after wave of bright immense light, which would startle and blind the best of them. If only momentarily. These lights were coming from nearby construction equipment, that Crusader had borrowed for this very occasion.

With the tiny area becoming a bright spotlight, the details on Bobby, the banshee, and the land their bodies were under to become very detailed. Still nowhere in the sight, the two heroes didn't leap into action. Instead a high pitch irritating, buzzing, and screeching sound emitted through this area, which would be enough to send anyone clasping for their ears in protection against this painful noise.

While the banshee was staring at Bobby, though perhaps the two would be unable to see it, there was a sense of recognition. As if the banshee had seen this person before but had no idea where or when.

But before it could come to remember where Bobby was in its memory, a series of intense light beamed down upon her. She released a sound that seemed to be a hiss but still possessed the wailing qualities of seen in their previous encounters. The banshee didn't move as she was blinded by such light.

A particular noise followed, one that was merely a nuisance to the banshee. The light was doing more than anything at the moment. However, the noise did awaken the unconscious Bobby. With a cry, he woke up and desperately went to cover his ears. Yet, he could not and it was then that he realized he was tied up. But this did not bother him or rather, it was not at the top of his list at the moment as he couldn't see due to the blinding light. He let out a cry of confusion.

Now annoyed, the banshee started to scream back at the noise. But it was brief and not enough to kill Bobby as if a bird were responding to a threat. Or, at least, wondering what the hell was going on.

With the bright lights and irritating sound stirring and halting the two, Crusader tossed his megaphone to the side, still hidden in the shadows. "Now that we have you both here," His voice echoed in the darkness, before he descended from a tree, revealing himself, as he softly landed into the snowy cushioned ground. "We can finally finish this." He remarked, Quiver still remaining behind, with her own weapons of nature, they had quickly put together.

The banshee turned upon hearing the Crusader as did Bobby.

"What are you talking about?" Bobby yelled, irritated but also scared at the uncertainty of his situation. Bits and pieces were starting to come back to him as he recalled the strangers from before. With his eyes still partially closed, he was fearing the worst.

Though she could only make out a shadow of sorts, that didn't seem to stop the banshee from flying towards the Crusader. She screamed at the same time. Bobby screamed in pain as well as the sound was nothing like he had heard before.

Quiver ran on the other side as the banshee charged forward. She shot an arrow covered in vines. The banshee was taken aback as it grazed her. Quiver fired another arrow and this time it pinned the banshee's arm to a tree.

Crusader simply stood in her path of flight, as it hurried towards him. Not in the slightest hindered by the scream, thanks to the leather protection he was wearing and had provided to Quiver as well. He aimed his iron flash bang compartment at the entity, however it was not needed. In fact it was all part of another trap, which sprung perfectly, as he kept its attention.

Once it was pinned to a tree, no doubt it wouldn't be for long, Crusader began to advance towards the banshee. This time he wouldn't miss with his cannon, as he aimed it at her. "We're not here to fight," He stated, but he was ready, as obviously shown, if it was the case. "We're here so you may reconcile your actions." He stated, to both the banshee and Bobby.

Despite the Crusader's warning, the banshee looked as though she were about to continue the fight as she went to pull the arrow out of her. As if she didn't fully understand what was happening and yet felt perhaps there was some truth to it.

The banshee had stopped screaming upon being hit but it screamed again. And again, Bobby cried out in pain. There was a small trickle of blood beginning to seep out of his ears. He didn't say anything though as the screaming had cause a ringing sensation to fill his ears and it was difficult to make out what was being said.

"Your name is Caroline Keen," Quiver shouted before the banshee went on another rampage. She had another arrow ready to go should the banshee break free as well.

At the mention of the name, the banshee ceased its screaming.

Finally, as the banshee ceased its screaming, Crusader felt they were getting somewhere, at long last. It had been a painful forty eight hours, but it looked that things were finally falling together, at least he hoped so. "You were murdered weeks ago, and have been killing innocents in your torment." Crusader commented, on what Quiver had stated.

"Your murderer is behind you." He added, "Bobby, your boyfriend." Crusader clarified, but before it could inspect Bobby or attack him if it became vile, Crusader realigned his cannon at the entity. "If you kill him in anger, we will finish your legacy."

Seeing the the Crusader's words seemed to be subduing the banshee, Quiver lowered her weapon and pulled out the picture of her. She showed it to the creature.

The banshee slowly transformed into the image of Caroline Keen. No longer the silvery figure, Caroline took form. She looked towards Bobby who was completely disoriented then back at the two. Slowly, her form was fading again though not into the silvery figure that the two were familiar with. Instead, she was fading into nothingness.

Just before Caroline disappeared completely, she looked at the Crusader.

"I still...foresee your death."

And with that, she vanished.

After not saying anything for quite some time, Quiver finally said, "she needed to let go."

Once the entity had finally calmed itself completely, Crusader lowered all his aimed weapons and intentions of fighting. Finally peace seemed to be coming, especially as the banshee transformed back into Keen's original form and was fading. Her last departing words did little to unsettle Crusader, who only replied with, "As do a a lot of people."

However, once Keen had vanished completely, an silence cast over the park. It wasn't an eerie silence, just a simple peaceful one. One that the citizens could enjoy once more, strolling the parks as they were meant to be. Not all was finished, as Crusader stared at Bobby. "Don't think you're getting off the hook."

"Please, don't kill me," Bobby managed to get out as his hearing was beginning to come back to him. He still couldn't see fully and had completely missed Caroline in the process. But he did see the two figures one of which was now walking closer towards him.

"I think a little jail time will do you some good," Quiver said as she was the one who stepped forward. She then began to untie him from the tree but kept the bonds that were tied only around his wrists on.

"Kill you?" Crusader asked rhetorically in disgust. "We don't do things that way, we'll leave that thinking up to the authority. We have enough evidence against you." He stated, revealing a large envelop, full of their own information, including a confession tape from Bobby.

Bobby didn't say anything as Quiver pushed him forward.

Dawn was approaching as the Lieutenant made her way back to the police station after only getting a few hours of sleep. Still, there was a serial killer on the loose and if that meant a few more sleepless nights, so be it.

Her sluggish pace quickly changed as a figure was slumped on the front steps of the station. Practically running, she eventually made out a man tied and gagged on the steps. There was an envelope attached with a note on the front.

The park is safe -Lunar Knight & Quiver

Opening the envelope, the Lieutenant found the files on her case as well as what appeared to be new information and a tape of some sort. She looked around for any signs of this mysterious person and the superhero she was already aware of. But there was no one.

Quiver lay half asleep on her bed. She had been so exhausted her costume still remained on. Yet, even in her sleep, something unsettled her.

I still foresee your death.

Deep within a seemingly foreign land, gray clouds began to form. It was a powerfully windy day, the sun having already set. Rain seemed imminent, yet not an ounce dared to trickle to the land below. Furiously the wind blew, rustling the autumn sickened trees, summer-dried leaves, with the skies darkening completely, and faint thunder echoing beyond.

The land bore a lush green cover, quite an mountainous and hilly terrain, with an even more peculiar building perched at the top of a stretching cliff. It was fortified quite well with steel walls and bolts. It almost seemed as if it was a prison, lacking detail or windows of any kind. This large sturdy metal box was surrounded by chained and barbwire fences, security patrols, guard towers, spotlights, and tanks posted within each corner.

This group of men, armed with machine guns, and uniformed as a faction of some military, were obviously protecting something very important. Inspecting the guards situations outside via a terminal, a man cloaked in all white slowly dismissed himself from the terminal, and faced his objective.

There in front of him was a bed, only supported by one large pole, bolted to the floor, and housing an unconscious patient. It was almost time, his work would be done. As several beakers boiled and gurgled, they would soon be ready for their next step.

Outside of this tightly locked fortress, a lone man and camouflaged, inspected the exterior. Without hesitation he prepared his pistol, his knife, and small explosives. His mission was soon to begin.

With his weapons prepared, the man kept his eyes fixated at a particular point at the fortress. He listened intently for his cue to advance. It did not take long for what sounded like a bird to fill his ears. Although, of course, it was no bird and the man quietly began to move towards his mission.

Patrolling through the outer-section of the steel metal fencing, which rose to fifteen feet, and was wrapped in barbwire, a soldier donned in a brownish beige uniform, a helmet, and machine gun passed by. However he stopped abruptly, retracing several steps backwards, before he looked to his side, where the commando was.

However, dismissing it as nothing, he resumed his patrol, and began following his routine pattern upwards. The entire bunker was wrapped with this metal fencing and barbwire, so getting through would not be easy. Especially making it difficult were not the patrolling guards, as one would just have to wait for them to get out of distance, but the guard towers inside the fence.

They towered higher then the fencing, were composed of wooden material, and had almost an entire view from all sides, only receiving a blind-spot where the support beams kept the roof overhead arose.

Keeping an eye on the guards in the watch tower, the lone man quietly moved towards the fencing. Within his bag of equipment, he took out a pair of extremely sharp pliers. In a few swift movements, the fence possessed a hole. But this hole was safely covered by the tall grass that surrounded it meaning only those who were looking for such a dent would notice it.

Waiting on the guard's movements, the man slipped through the fencing and landed underneath the blind spot of one of the wooden towers.

Able to penetrate through the first defenses and undetected, the guards were unaware of this intruder's presence. Atop the guard tower a soldier manned a spotlight, panning it through the landscape and inside of the complex.

Slowly the light bathed the ground, growing closer towards the commando, until it finally hit them. However, despite it stopping its movement where the man was, he was covered and lying underneath the thick grass, therefore hidden from the light.

Figuring the area was clear, the soldier then pushed the light away from the spot, sweeping several other areas nearby. If this commando was to get into this building, they would have to stay out of the light's reach, as well as the soldiers who were even more in numbers then outside.

Keeping out for the spotlight, the man silently and swiftly weaved his way through the fortress as he made his way towards a wall that was away from the fort. Standing by one of the doors was a lone guard. He was not moving and showed no signs of moving anytime soon. Yet, from the plans he had looked at prior, this was the most efficient and trouble-less way to get to his ultimate goal. With the guard's head turned, the man came up to him, knocking him out with the butt of his gun.

Slinging the unconscious man over his shoulders, the man hid him in a nearby corner behind some crates. He then took something from his bag and stuck it to the wall. The man ducked behind the crates with the abandoned man before a semi-loud explosion occurred. Quickly, the man rushed towards the explosion, past the dust and debris and through the wall he had managed to knock down.

While the explosion wasn't large, it was still loud, and caused a tremor across the building, and area. With any noisy bomb, this one was no different, and alarmed the guards and towers outside. They immediately flashed their lights onto the smoky, small gap, where the bomb was planted on a weak spot.

However, the commando was not there, they had already entered, leaving only a smoky mess behind. The guards outside immediately rushed to the commotion, their hands tightly squeezing their guns. It went without saying, that the fortress alarms went off from this disaster, as soldiers inside began to rush around, readying themselves for this secretive attack.

Stealth was not as much as an option now, once this man entered the dusty hall, where the gap was. Several soldiers inside, rushed towards the commando, covering themselves behind the fortress structure. Without warning they fired their machine guns. A few bullets ricocheting where the man stood, yet the bulk would surely hit him.

Ducking low, the commando ran across where fewer soldiers were as the heavy forces fired. He didn't both to stop and try to fire at them now that he had been discovered.

As the explosion from before shook the foundation, the man in white braced himself, in order to stay upright from the tremors. Once it had ceased, the alarms had went off, and he had heard the constant chatter, footsteps, and ruckus of the soldiers preparing for something.

Quickly he inspected the monitor in order to see the soldiers mounting a defense, and a blurry figure, being that of the commando quickly slipping out of the camera's view. Suddenly gunshots erupted and he had already known what was transpiring.

There was little time left, now that they were making their move. "You three, guard the front door, the rest of you guard the outside!" He exclaimed, as the soldiers inside, armed with machine guns, rifles, and a rocket launcher nodded the man with a salute.

"If our work is captured, it will be all over. Kill them at all costs!" The man exclaimed, and these soldiers were already rushing to their objective.

Slowly he turned back to his beakers and makeshift laboratory work, where liquids were boiling, bubbling, and glowing strangely. "Soon...very soon..."

Elsewhere as the commando slipped through the hallway with the first defense, they immediately pulled themselves out of their ground covers, and rushed after him. However if they were able to keep up or find him, was another question.

Instead soldiers already in his path were brought into action. Unfortunately for them, their was only two, one who had forgotten to bring his main weapon, and simply pulled out a pistol, and the other armed with the issued machine gun. Needlessly to say, they aimed at this man and fired on the spot.

Seeing the two men as they raised their weapons, the commando threw a smoke bomb in their direction before they were able to fire. Now covered in the smoke and with their vision impaired, the man ran up to the one with the machine gun and punched him in the face. He then went up to the other man and twisted his arm as the pistol was aimed towards him before delivering a punch in the gut.

Taking the pistol with him, the man then drew out his own weapon as well so he had two guns as he moved forward.
