Just thought I'd say that an image of the Promise Part 2 has already been leaked...

I'm sorry, but this is just sad. This asshole needs to stop it. It's not his/her work to upload.

I don't even know if it's the same person. I'm actually playing detective and trying to figure out who it is :p

But I came to a dead end :/ unless you know what Previews is

Edit: Nevermind, I think I figured it out. The leak is actually a LEGAL leak. supposedly (assuming this person is telling the truth) the image comes from a comic catalog called Previews.

I've been hearing that it's going to be released January and then another source says February. I wish they would just choose a date.

Also because of these leaks, they're probably not going to make a profit on this. A crappy profit means the likability that they won't make more (if they ever considered that)

Bet those idiots who leaked the material didn't think about that.

It's because it gets released in January at the comic book stores and then everywhere else if February.

there is a contract for 3 books. they're not going to not make them when they're almost done. im pretty sure the second one is definitely done. i dont know about the third one.

and actually, a lot of the fans that ive been reading on said they're going to buy it anyway. but they could be lying :p me, i always planned on getting it at the library until all three came out before i actually went out and bought it.

LS people say a lot of things. Why would they buy them if the entire thing was leaked, as it seems it's on its way of doing.

Because they want a hard copy? I watched a majority of season 3 leaked but I still went out and bought the DVDs. and watched it on tv. From what I've seen of the Avatar community, most people crave the leaks just to know what happens for the sake of knowing or to make AMVs and not to save money.

A dvd is different from a book though. So I can see the reasons behind that.

There are hours of episodes on the dvd. Hunting down a certain episode is near impossible unless you download it somewhere, which may or may not take a long time.

I don't think images of comic strips will take nearly as long to load. Plus once you've loaded them, (even if they are being taken down) it's easier to save images to your desktop then a full episode)

So then you can just print and tada! You have the full comic.

I think you're making it seem like finding an episode of Avatar is extremely difficult....it's really not that hard to find that kind of stuff. And with the comic, you have to waste valuable color ink and the quality wont be nearly as good. So either way, you got to go out of your way to get the said object to be nice and spiffy looking. Which is why I think people will just go out and buy the comic. The comics only like $5 or something.

I just didn't want to get it until I read the whole thing because I don't want to buy a series that I end up not liking. Twilight and Harry Potter is not happening all over again :p

Hey it can be, with any episode. Finding it full and good quality is pretty tough. Harder then with comics like I said.

I remember wasting over an hour or more of my computer's time to buffer the first XMen movie. The thing was complete garbage. You couldn't even make out what was happening.

^ yeah but that was because the first X-Men movie was released in theaters first. there's a difference when something's released on TV as opposed to when its released in theaters.

Well I don't mean I tried doing it the time it was first released. It was like earlier this year because I couldn't find it in the library or at the stores. I wanted to watch it, but I just wasted more time.

either way, it's still a gamble because you have to go through theatrical releases. with TV shows, you dont have to do that because the quality will be good no matter what.

I've seen some pretty bad quality episodes online as well. Not sure where you're going with that or if I'm misunderstanding you.

Seriously LS? There are really fuzzy, blurry, pixelated quality episodes online, where the audio and animation doesn't match up at times. It's not worth watching that.

Honestly I can say I've never seen that unless I just want to watch a quick, thirty second clip. I've never encountered extremely bad quality tv shows.

Almost time for the first book to be released, although it's been leaked to everyone already. I couldn't find anything about the leaks, so I'll be buying it. (Plus I didn't look very far :P)
