I just remembered this yesterday, but I could not not just share.

Anyway when I was really young, my grandmother's home had these mirrors in her bathroom. There was one just above the sink and one right behind the sink where the door was. Every time I came over and had to use the bathroom, I saw the never ending set of mirrors that each mirror reflected onto each other.

It always creeped me out, because I thought I was staring into different worlds/universes.

I was really young, not just like seven or something. I think I was really young. I just remember seeing a million copies of myself and being freaked out. I often would try not to look into the mirror, cause I thought I would be sucked in or something.

i still think thats less pathetic than a 12 year old waiting for her letter from Hogwarts to arrive.

Which, by the way, may have gotten lost due to Voldemort second attempt taking over the wizarding world because he had the records of muggles born in early 90s removed. so the Ministry is still trying to sort all the records out by now. Just saying :p

This doesn't apply to me, but I always find it funny and a little cute when kids ask me if I use bullets in reenactments. They'll often add Real to the bullets, which is even funnier.

Though it gets less funny when adults ask me the same thing...

Not really kid gullibility, but more of an gullible adult...anyway this story is a little too funny not to share. Maybe I've told you, I tell everyone.

At one reenactment some kid was amazed at all our equipment, gear, uniforms, and just army camp stuff we had out and made. He commented something along the line of how cool our fire was.

His father tells him that everything is a prop and quickly grabs a pan that's on the fire, saying something like, See Prop!

Someone in our group asked him if his sizzling skin was a prop to. Honestly I don't get how he didn't feel the heat from the fire before the pan, but whatever people do stupid stuff.

All right, I got a good one. A real good one.

When I was young, I saw this Miracle of Life video and I asked my mom if that was me. And she said yes. So I watched one of those birthing videos all the time because I thought I was watching me being born.
