Yeah I always had this idea and just now made it...well not just now, it took me a an hour or so...I like to take my time while drawing.

So tell me what you all think!

lol by just adding a pipe and a hat to it?

In case you don't know Lee is the one shouting "Objection!" while Suigetsu, Risa, and Mashiro are the ones in the lower bottom corner.

This is a joke during the trial about how Lee's boomerang which is still at the plains ended up giving them the chance to speak their part of the story.

Oh when I drew it I saw the face more as the edge of the boomerang, like a long nose...kinda like Spy vs. Spy.

Oh lol no, that's why I spent so much time getting the hat and pipe just right, so it looked semi-realistic. Only the RP characters are cartooned.

Instead of creating another thread just for one piece I figured I'd post it here.

It's Lee during his third stage of fire bend training, when he was boiling water in a bucket. Though in this part he's mastered it.

Oh thanks for the comment on the background...I tried to make it look like it was more out in sea this time, with some rocks, gulls, and crashing waves.

About hands...just practice. The more you do them the better you will be. In fact try just drawing hands in different poses and gestures. And just keep at it.

Also when drawing them don't just look at a hand as just a hand, look further. By that I mean look at the shapes that make up the hand in that particular angle. Break it up and then draw that certain shape and part as best as you can until you finally reach the end point.

This works well with whatever you're drawing.
